Have some long reviews. Left as is: @5838170 - Armoson The mech is not stable, it just fell before it could finish it's journey to where the actual hole is. There's also a fake invisible wall here in the red area, but not in the purple one, that will most likely cause mass death. Grounds feel like they're just put there randomly, there's no alignment at all, ones are smaller than others, ones get offscreen. Overall gameplay is not good in this map, it feels like a copy of another maps that are already P6 and have the same concept: follow the hole until its final destination. I think you should make a new map, this one is boring. @5623681 - Armoson There is no mech in this map or fancy puzzles to be solved. Water (the blue part) is not consistent with real water level, jumping to the water will kill most of the mice because the height is really small and mice fall. Static art is somewhat nice, but the dynamic one isn't, I can see the yellow anchors all over it. There is a tutorial on viprin's drawing tool on how to make art dynamic, it's really easy, you'd not only make it look better that way, but also save grounds and anchors to make a better gameplay for this. I think you have potential in mapmaking, just not in this category. Have you considered making art maps? @6124174 - +Mistersacri I'm not a fan of the map decorations, but that's not important at all. However, I see several flaws. This to start with: http://i.imgur.com/iJMDjhi.png, it makes it extremely easy to go back to the hole. Then the dirt grounds to both sides, they have no purpose once the grounds change. About the grounds changing, they change too quickly to even affect the gameplay. Seems like a nice map, but it should be fixed in order to be considered. Also I think it'd fit better in P9 or maybe P7, this isn't really an impressive mech imo. @6242274 - +Mistersacri What's the point of the treadmils? They don't really affect gameplay at all. Other than that, I'm not sure if you did it on purpose or not, but the chocolates go faster sometimes and slower other times, either way it's not good, it looks glitchy. It's an interesting concept, but it was poorly executed. Keep working on it. @4211844 - Sewdycreator I don't really know what to say about this. Looks like another map so I guess it's one of those copy maps with a twist? But I don't remember the original map having 2 cheese. Gameplay isn't really fun in this one, first you think you're going to die, then you just ask yourself what's going on. When it's done changing it doesn't look at all like the first map, but it just has two rotating things that aren't fun, one being an obstacle and the other one just to help mice reach the hole. You can keep working on this, but I suggest rethinking it and giving it a different twist so it's funnier for mice. @3211751 - Sewdycreator I remember this! But isn't this technically copying maps? It's the same concept as the old one, I'm not sure if you're the original owner. Was this meant as a "replacement" for it? @6297947 - Renaxan Maps that depend on the shaman are usually bad. We already have many maps in several categories that depend on the shaman having to move something so mice can complete the map. It's not only boring for the shaman, but also inconvenient for mice in case the shaman is afk, since there is no way to complete it. I think that only P4 and P8 maps should be uncompletable if the shaman is afk, the rest of the categories should be at least possible, even if there's no time. Keep working on it though, maybe you could make the trampolines move alone, that'd be interesting. @6234279 - Renaxan The colors look much better now, less christmas like! But I still see a problem with it. Maybe you could PM me and give me an explanation as to what mice are supposed to do in order to complete it? Sigue trabajando, y si te interesan los mecanismos, visita la sección del editor de mapas en el foro, allí puedes encontrar tutoriales de mecanismos que podrías usar en tus mapas. @6211935 - Mrkurt The grounds in this map are confusing, the dirt grounds have no friction so it's not possible to walljump them. Then there's the ground on top of the hole which makes it super hard for newbies to walljump there to go back to the moving grounds. I really like the colors you've chosen for the moving grounds, they're nice, but they're bouncy and buggy sometimes, could you fix that, the other details and resubmit? @6288638 - Eljortdn Hace tiempo que no veo un mapa con suelos cayendo, pero este no es muy bueno. Es posible mover los suelos de su lugar mientras caen, eso no debería ser posible en un buen mapa. Además de eso, no entiendo por qué alguien se molestaría en llegar hasta arriba si puede ir desde abajo y simplemente escalar el trampolín, luego de eso no son necesarias las 3 madrigueras, es muy fácil llegar a la segunda. No es un mapa muy divertido. Me gustaría ver un mapa con suelos cayendo, hay muchas cosas que se pueden hacer con esto, deberías seguir trabajando en el concepto. @6263276 - Mmdc32 It's super long so you can't know what you're doing or where you are if you have a small screen. It kind of reminds me of @239907 and another map I'm not sure if it's still in rotation. The main problem with it isn't that it looks like other maps, but the fact that it's super long, so mice have to run a lot, and run for no reason, there isn't anything that stops them, or makes them bounce, or anything, so it's not fun. Make it smaller, maybe make the grounds move on their own or add something else to make it more original. @6295245 - Mmdc32 OK, many wrong things about this map: The circle grounds move when you touch them and in order to get the cheese without the shaman help you have to go offscreen, way too offscreen to even be able to see where you're going. Other than that the gameplay is boring, all you have to do is run, wait for the platform to pick you up and then jump when you're on top of the cheese. This map can be good, but you need to work a lot on it, in its current state I don't have anything good to say about it, I'm sorry. @5628785 - Leaomestre I like this concept! But it was poorly executed. The ice ground goes too slow so mice have to wait, to fix that you could include more ice grounds, maybe ones can go clockwise and others can go counterclockwise to make it more challenging. Or you could add two of those things in different parts of the map so there's not only one obstacle but two. Your choice, it has potential, it just needs to be worked on. @5990659 - Squalleze Ok, it disappears now, that's ok. Being honest the gameplay for this map is just boring. The lua screen and the words appearing are nice, but that's just it. The grounds in it just feel random and boring. So you have this lua screen with cool words appearing and then it's like the other grounds don't belong there at all, they have nothing to do with the lua screen or lua. I know you've been working hard on this, but I don't think it's viable unless you come up with a gameplay concept that is possible and related to lua, and not just random gameplay that doesn't match your map. @6036833 - Dprocik Did a public test and comments were not good. Everyone just ran through the trampoline without even using the yellow grounds, and then when they went to use them they fell and got mad. Good concept, but it's frustrating. I like the shortcut though. Maybe you could change the arrangement of grounds and not add so many moving yellow grounds to make it better. @6292928 - Fuzilakim I wouldn't consider this a mech map, more like an art map with a small mechanism. The mouse is cute and so is the little train, but it doesn't meet P5 nor P6's standards for the following reasons: the mech isn't impresive or nice, it's not properly aligned (in fact, the castle is just a bunch of grounds randomly put together), and it lacks gameplay, since it's just walljumping over art. Try making the art and gameplay better and submit to P5. @6294890 - Kaykybrbt The mech is supposed to affect the mice, not just be there to be shown. The black background is confusing, also the fact that mice can't be seen the first few seconds. Gameplay is just walljumping and some turnarounds, it's not fun. Try making another map. @4346158 - Dudremon This map has many flaws. The hands are not in the center of the clock, the gameplay is frustrating and annoying, it's really hard to get the cheese because you get hit by the clock's hands constantly and the low gravity makes it even harder. This looks like a cuckoo clock, maybe you could make the art and gameplay better and submit it to P5 instead of P6, since the mechanism isn't really good for P6. @5047687 - Ordord This is poorly aligned and has bad gameplay, it feels like you just took a bunch of grounds and put them randomly all over the map. Judging by the /info of the map I don't think it's enjoyable at all: [03:40] [•] Derikpaulok - @5047687 - 549 - 49% - P44 You may want to practice some in the map editor before exporting more maps, also read the forums, there are good guides there if you'd like to learn how to make mechanisms. @3067376 - Shalander This reminds me of two old P6s. One made by moripogi and another one made by zfc, they probably don't work now but you might remember them: @3334635 and @1756337. In the first one if you fell into one of the water parts they'd "freeze" and you'd get trapped, so the shaman had to place portals to get you out. In the second it's a "last ground to be touched wins" concept. This one is kind of a mix of both, but it's not properly made. To start with, mice don't appear until after a few seconds, why? Second, there is no way to get out of the holes, those trampolines don't really do anything, in the left and right sides there are no trampolines to both sides of the holes, just in the middle, giving whoever goes to the middle an unfair advantage, since there's enough time to get there and maybe escape before the ice appears. Keep working on it, try to make the gameplay better. @6272193 - Recrutinha At first it looked interesting, but I did tests and the results were not good. Mice constantly fell out of the chocolate grounds trying to reach the higher ones, so they ended up using the water, which is good, but I don't think your idea was to make all chocolate grounds get together after a while to look like a long chocolate stick. I like this map, but it needs to be improved. @6299917 - Mrorko I don't consider connected grounds like this a mechanism. Nothing fun happens, you just move them once and that's it, no way to go to the hole. You had the idea to make a map with moving connected grounds, that's ok, but then you didn't keep working on it! You're not done with this map yet, you still need to add more stuff to make it exciting and fun to see and play. @6300825 - Peterbope I don't consider this a mechanism. Grounds disappear way too fast and they feel like they were just randomly put to make a labyrinth, then the other grounds just fall with mice's weight. Just running and walljumping a labyrinth isn't fun. Plus we already have several maze maps. @6300826 - Peterbope I don't kow what to say about this. Without the ice moving and the chocolate grounds falling (with no purpose, by the way) it looks more like a racing map than a mechanism map. It's not fun. Make it better, static and consider submitting it to P7 or racing instead. @6300884 - Arthiforum This is nice but http://i.imgur.com/1W8Dg4T.png, please fix. @3704861 - Sarkazm There's a few problems with this. It's possible to complete it with just springs, also the only way to get rid of those ice grounds is to balloon them or put anvils below, if you balloon them the other ground goes away with it, if you put anvils below then all you need to do to make it completable is this: http://i.imgur.com/AUMkoFn.png It doesn't really work for P6, but you should edit it a bit to make it more challenging and submit it to P4 to see how it goes. @5467695 - Viniciusdara It's a nice map, but we already have several maps with this concept, even if the grounds don't move in a circle, it's more of the same and people get bored of it.
