Left as is: @7760602 - Suppon#1377 - Unfortunately for this map, it appears to have been made with a very linear mindset, meaning that there's only so many solutions a Shaman can do for this map, and none of them too exciting or strenuous for said Shaman to complete. There isn't any clear challenge that pops out to me with this map, as all it would take is a few ramps and a bridge. After some contemplation, this is what many Shaman's will attempt to do if this map were to come up. My advice to you is to make the map a bit more challenging for the aforementioned Shaman, you could do this by adding crevices into the grounds, or various walls and obstacles; however, something to bear in mind while doing this is to make sure that the map doesn't end up being too cramped to the point it can lead into the Shaman being overwhelmed. @7761387 - A_4K#3858 - I appreciate the originality of this map and how unique it is! We haven't one like this in rotation as far as I know, however, with this being said, I do have a few recommendations - and here is why; currently, newer Shaman's can easily be overwhelmed by the maps current mechanics, first suggestion would be to slow down the rotation of the ice. Secondly, while this is a common issue, more experienced Shaman will see past these setbacks and simply create a bridge and a ramp to complete the map as their solution. How you can counteract this would be by adding a few more grounds -spaced out- and having them be stable, rather than anti. @7764239 - Anitta#0148 - From a first glance, it appears that while the map is spacious in several areas which could allow for the Shaman to build various different solutions, engaging in their creativity, it has come to my attention that a majority of the Shaman will simply build two ramps and a bridge -- there is also not much here that will add to the gameplay that is engaging for the mice nor the Shaman. A few things I would suggest that while still wanting to keep the open space to keep the possibilities, move the ice bordering the cheese a bit further apart, as it is cramped and can lead to a messy build in that area. Also, if you would like to still challenge them -without- using tight spaces, I personally suggest the use of clouds in various spots with different shapes, sizes and the like. I would also move the Shaman spawn elsewhere to where their beginning build wouldn't be as simplistic as it is with the map's current state. @7763288 - Bhvana#0543 - I don't believe that this map will be receiving a perm today, reason being it is far too simplistic and only offers linear solutions from the Shaman's and no creativity whatsoever, even with you utilizing the anticloud gruond concept, there simply is no challenge to be had. A good idea would be to go through normal rooms and take ideas, concepts from the maps that are currently in rotation and make those ideas your own with a spin of originality. @7105051 - Kiry#6848 - This map is just a very basic bridge map with a couple of ramps to the hole and to the cheese, as the way the map is designed forces a single linear solution with no creativity to put into it. The whole top side of the map is also unused; this is something that you have to avoid while creating maps as it greatly limits the space that the shaman can use to build. Single-solution bridge maps are very bland and not up to today's standards. @7760262 - Godmcb#6577 - While it's a neat concept to bring cobwebs into the Shaman map and using them to their advantage rather than disadvantage, with the current layout, this map typically will result in Shaman's just doing a few ramps as well as a bridge or two. There isn'tanything that stands out too much here. I do want you to keep the idea of using the cobwebs to their advantage, however; what you could do is change the layout a bit, make it a more challenging and less symmetrical, you can make the grounds shifted away from one another, or even bring in a few more challenging ideas; what we're looking for is a map that while a newer player could complete, will still challenge and engage with the ideas any Shaman may have when coming across this map. @7762134 - Trexexjc#0000 - While building in this map, it's come to our attention that in the bottom area, with the clouds and the curved grounds, the Shaman's builds have become rather cramped in this area (https://prnt.sc/tz7ikj) nonetheless, many of the builds we would see with this current layout would consist of a multitude of bridges and a singular ramp, depending on which route they took. While I appreciate the different routes for them to take, none of them pose anything intriguing and it doesn't bring anything new nor exciting with the gameplay. My suggestion would be to shrink the spawning area, to give the middle area more room and raise the bottom grounds to give the Shaman's more space to build. Then, I believe that this map could be P1 at most. @576050 - Xaxadoooooo#0000 - This is one of the better maps I've seen out of this review and I'll admit- I was a bit crestfallen from the speed of the wind as I knew it could potentially overwhelm the Shaman's - however, with a few edits, I could see this moreso as a P8 map rather than P4, if you'd like to keep the wind. My advice to you would be to open up the space between the cobwebs that are horizontal (below the cheese and the hole) and give them a bit more space (not too much). Also, if you're aiming for P8, mayhaps put the second Shaman spawn down on the lower right where the other mice spawn as well. Post this map in the P8 submissions thread, and hopefully we will be able to see it have a perm! @5177997 - Koulouh#0000 - The idea of using the defilante death tokens isn't unheard of, but with the current layout you've in place for this map, it's a bit outlandish and tedious to expect a Shaman -especially those that are newer to the game- try and build around. Those in themselves would make the map more difficult, however with the addition of the planks blocking both of the cheese, it's inevitable that the mice may split between the two and force the Shaman' to take more time to build than they may necessarily have. My advice would be to remove the planks and have the death tokens be more spaced out amongst one another, rather than so close (this can result in a Shaman being more overwhelmed, and many deaths). And perhaps a new layout with another theme and more grounds? @7758353 - Wed#0000 - Firstly the build path is fairly generic, as it only consists of a bridge at the bottom of the map and a ramp towards the hole. Secondly, the cloud grounds are just making it awkward to build there rather than challenging. Finally, there's no solid platform to start your base off, which forces divine/hardmode shamans to attach their builds to an unstable dynamic trampoline ground. @7705600 - Refused#6163 - After testing this in a few public rooms, it's come to my attention that while the layout is desireable and clean to the eye, many players and Shaman's have become overwhelmed with the excess of "covering" in the map. My suggestion is to remove the right part of the covering entirely and on the left (near the Shaman), add slits into it where their builds can be visible rather than it completely covering it in it's entirety to alleviate some of the stress that was seen during the testing. @6123541 - Commandantso#0000 - I understand that you wanted to have the Shaman abstain from building the typical bridge and ramp solution that we would see with the layout from the use of the webs, this is still the same kindof builds that we will see; there is nothing in the map currently that forces the Shaman to think outside the box or outside of their comfort zone when it comes to what they may do for this map in particular. The gameplay is also generic. We're looking for something a bit more eccentric - something that will encourage different ways to build and complete the map. Perhaps you can change the layout or add a few different obstacles rather than the cobwebs. @4045622 - Pamdecp#0000 - While interesting, this isn't necessarily what we are looking for for P4 at this given point in time. @4737009 - Jasseh#0000 - I really appreciate the layout that you've given the Shaman to work with- it engages what they can do and create for this map, however I believe that there is still some improvement to be had; a majority of the builds that we will see from this map would still mainly consist of bridges and ramps; my suggestion would be to add a few more crevices or linear (or even diagonal) thin strips of clouds near the mice, to make it a tad bit more challenging for the Shaman! After these edits, I wouldn't mind testing this map in the public. @7766206 - Hackdesamba#0000 - Too linear. Would not challenge the Shaman in the slightest - majority of the builds would consist of bridges and slight inclines. @7766851 - Parok#3421 - See above.
