Left as is: @3847602 - Namelessh#0000 - While the map offers a few different ways to complete it, the most common way I can see would just be a massive ramp up and then down to the cheese, and then to the hole. This map has nothing to truly offer gameplay-wise. Other than that, there's a few things I would like to discuss. The grounds on the left, that are both diagonal - they are way too close to one another and prove to be lackluster at best, unfortunately. My advice to you would be to change the layout of your map that offers more space/room and more ways for the Shaman to build creativity than not. @7781184 - Hackdesamba#0000 - The idea that you have the map is desireable, I feel as though it could be executed better, however. Reason being is that if the Shaman's were able to build through some of the grounds, primarily the triangle closest to the cheese, I feel the Shaman would have more freedom in their build in how they wish to go about it, offering more solutions and variations, as well as offer engaging gameplay. @2569311 - Viniciusdara#4015 - Personally, I'm not too much of a fan of the use of defilante death tokens, unless used in a very minimal, thought-provoking manner. With the current layout, the tokens don't force the Shaman to think, nor to be intuitive with their builds beyond the idea of a long bridge and ramp(s) build. I advise that if you are wanting to keep the defilante death tokens, to remove a mass majority of them, and to change the layout as this gameplay is more monotonous at best. @7701343 - Juliandcc#0000 - With the layout of the map and excess of vertical and diagonal grounds, this has resulted in a very forced-path like map, where it only makes the Shaman go through two ways to complete it. Other than that, the grounds are very tightly compacted against eachother, giving a cramped and stressful atmosphere. There's a few things we need to discuss; where the maps spawn, the Shaman would likely have to build off-screen, which would be an annoyance in on it's own as a majority of players don't play with full screen. Where you have placed the cheese also faces the same issues; it's cramped and could result in this off-screen building technique that we don't want the Shaman's to have to go through, quite frankly. That being said, I'd suggest removing the ice grounds entirely, and shrink the cloud ground closest to the hold, making it smaller (shrink downwards). @7775983 - B0wl#7075 - Okay. While the concept is pretty interesting, I don't believe that it was executed properly. I DO, however, want to see this again, just in a different layout. I want you to see the water and imagine them as clouds instead, an obstacle for the Shaman to overcome, and NOT use it to make their builds stable. Use it to their disadvantage moreso than their advantage. Let's move the grounds around a bit, and even add some so that the builds aren't so linear and generic for lack of a better word. @7779232 - Solderify#0000 - With the current layout, the Shaman's will only have a bridge and ramp build, and nothing more. I don't see any other solutions/variations that the Shamans will take otherwise. @7777240 - B_Ootcamp#8312 - The obstacle isn't really hard to get rid of, but I appreciate the effort. The layout does work out and let's the Shaman choose a few various ways to complete the map. One thing I noticed is that with the position of the dodue there isn't really much of a a challenge for the Shaman's to do for that, so I'd recommend moving one of them further away. @7760602 - Suppon#1377 - AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH @4737009 - Jasseh#0000 - With the grounds in the current layout that they are, the map overall feels very cramped. I'd advise to use the space given to you and space out the map/grounds as to give the Shaman more room to build. @7754582 - Sazd#0148 - With the idea that you have for the map currently, it would easily result in mass death for many mice whom don't understand the concept. @7780013 - Parok#3421 - I don't believe that this would work out well for P4 due to a number of things; layout, it would result in just a bridge/ramp build, as well as off screen building due to the clouds. I also see no point for the anticloud ground. @7780016 - Eventhorizon#0309 - While it's a visually appealing map and a good change frmo the standard grounds that many use, I don't believe that with the layout it forces the Shaman to think nor be productive; all that they will do is create a bridge and a single ramp, the grounds of the "S" would make it very cramped around the cheese for the Shaman. Overall, the gameplay is generic and monotonous. @4999920 - Ifo#4275 - Best kept as P1. @7782625 - Xaxadoooooo#0000 - The layout is genius, and allows the Shaman to use various routes for completion. However, with the anticloud, I believe that the map may be genuinely be too open - also, the grounds to the left are more or less pointless to the Shaman and will not be use perhaps you can remove these grounds and shift the mouse hole further over to the left to utilize that space better. @4056984 - Frnnnnnnnnnn#3096 - With the current layout of the map, the upper left portion of the map will not be used whatsoever. Also, with the lack of grounds around the middle and with how far the horizontal grounds jut out, it would result in just a bridge and ramp build, also, I would advise shifting the grounds about, and adding more grounds to make more of a challenge for the Shaman. If you were to leave the layout as it is, it's also worth mentioning that that under the Shaman spawn, it is too narrow/cramped for the Shaman. @7705600 - Refused#6163 - I love this map, it offers many different ways for the Shaman's to build and offers a challenge for the Shaman that isn't too tedious nor annoying - it's just the right mix of the two that forces the Shaman to pause and think. However, there's a few thing s I would like you to do before we put this in discussion for P4. Once the mice get to the Cheese and up to the upper middle ground, it's actually plausible for the mice to complete the rest of the map without the use of a Shaman.Perhaps you can either shorten the diagonal ice grounds so that the mice can't reach it, or to make the wooden ground above the mouse hole longer so that the mice cannot reach the hole on their own. This would be possible by shifting the entire platform over to the left a tad, so that you can stretch out the upper wood. @3021294 - Marllonsilva#0000 - Generic @6302247 - Garybro#0000 - See above - also offers no challenge to the Shaman other than a bridge build. I'd suggest viewing the thread here. https://atelier801.com/topic?f=6&t=853018 @7781026 - Elvis#4508 - Only results in a bridge and ramp build, has no challenge for the Shamans to go through @7336996 - A_4K#3858 - I adore the layout of the map, it has a decent level of both challenging and creativeness for the Shaman's as they have to avoid the spinning wheel of death. However, I'd suggest raising it a bit as below it for the Shaman to build to the hole, it's a bitcramped and can result in stress. @7769502 - Bautipro#5357 - I believe the concept could've been executed in a better way than it was, it feels you were just testing the waters here and otherwise there isn't a challenge for the Shaman's other than lowering/weighing down one of the ice blocks and building a bridge then two ramps over to the hole. I'd suggest changing the layout, whilst still managing to use the concept you have provided, perhaps in a different more complex way. @7712107 - Thekingwys#4005 - I'd suggest changing the grounds above the mice (the grass) to clouds, as well as removing the two top defilante death tokens near the cheese, however keep the line that is in line with the ground so it isn't too stressing/forcing the Shaman to build only in that specific direction. I feel you've accomplished that most we can do for the left-side of the map, and it doesn't need to be touched, but the upper right still needs some work done. Let's see what it looks like with these edits. @7782009 - Portwave#8221 - Shaman's would hardly be necessary in this map, other than to just build a bridge. Also, you have submitted it into the wrong category, I believe you're looking for P8 instead. @7777471 - Godmcb#6577 - The vertical ice grounds make the map a bit cramped for the Shaman, otherwise I really like this idea that you've shared for P4. Nonetheless, I'd advise to shift the vertical ice grounds (primarily the one closest to the Shaman on the right moreso towards the right to give them more space, as well as the two vertical ice grounds closest to the mice - space them out so that the builds won't be cramped as much in this general area. With how the map is currently, I can see it would take the Shaman too much time for their builds (in other words, too difficult). @7782137 - Stovedove#0000 - Thank you, with the layout of the map, I feel that there is very limited ways for the Shaman to complete it, despite there being anti-cloud. It's more or less just a few ramps and that be it primarily. I feel that you could've used a lot more space, generally around where the mice spawn - the box isn't really necessary - nor is the anticloud being that big quite necessary either. @1335363 - Pamdecp#0000 - Too generic, doesn't have any challenges for the Shaman whatsoever (all it would really take is a b-plank or a box to keep the planks from shifting back and forth to keep the build stable) once they keep the planks still, it's really a matter of building a ramp down to the cheese and a mini ramp or structure for the hole. Perhaps look at some other maps in rotation recently perm'd to get a better idea for some of the challenges we're looking for. @7782673 - Superyacine#0000 - While it's a more new idea that we ain't seen yet, however I believe that it's more or less a buildathon for the Shaman's, and with the current size of the map, all it would be is a massive bridge and two ramps. I'd suggest perhaps changing the layout a bit to give the shamans more creative ability with the builds of their map. P1'ed: @7775598 - Commandantso#0000 - It's a neat concept that I would to see in rotation, however I simply believe that it would be too difficult of a concept for newer Shaman's to grasp since it is what runs the entire map. P1 will do. @5364888 - Koulouh#0010 - @7105051 - Kiry#6848 - While the map generally speaking is more on the bland side, the gameplay is fun and the Shaman has a few ways to build for it, albeit a majority of these solutions would just be the simple bridge+ramp idea that we're seeing moreso nowadays. The map, in it's simplicity is charming and therefore I'll P1 It. Will be discussed: None Ignored: None Dernière modification le 1600293000000 |
