No, I dont mean to use the /ignore command. I meant just play without looking at the chat.

i mean if you can play in a 20+ mice room w/o getting distracted by people complaining and insulting each other, then sure lmfao, that's you
but for people who are easily distracted and would prefer to play this game without having to see any chat, this'd be pretty helpful

Can't you just ignore players? And isn't there already a command to hide all chat? /clear?
Just hide in a random whisper tab or chat tab and do /clear.

If you think your whispers are 'distracting', you can do /silence or /silence* (to ignore all players)
