But what I dont get is when people get angry about not using apostrophes. When you read 'your my friend' and 'you're my friend' youll get the point across anyway even if its incorrect. Grammar Nazis never miss a word. Never. Also, it's hard to resist the urge to correct someone if you're a Grammar Nazi.

Back then when I joined Transformice I started talking like this with those shortened words.
Such as.. 'u wot m8' I CAN'T. I bet I sounded really horrible and childish. Even though after a while, I don't know WHAT made me, but my English improved. I guess it would be impossible to understand my English, so I probably changed.
But still, people who still use this type of language sound MORE childish if they keep going on. But I think their 'shortened' language is improving. I've seen some idiot say in a room 'hay wuts up evribodi i hat dese sunds how 2 tern dem uff' I LITERALLY remember that sentence. It sounded SO DUMB.
I've seen some people still use this type of grammar, but I rarely use it. I only use 'pls' but it's not that much of a misspell. I wonder who came up with these type of words and my eyes bleed..

The only times I use these shortened words are to mock the general intellectual ineptitude among Transformice players. For example, when I say "giev chez plox", I'm actually attempting to give a such a ridiculously overblown imitation of how idiotic Transformice players can be, that it's funny. Unfortunately, this mockery is all too *accurate*, and so the players I mock mistakenly count me as one of them, and my true message is lost.

On another perspective, I sometimes get friend or tribe requests from random strangers. I tell them that the most important requirement of our tribe is being fluent in English. So far, that excuse has yet to fail me.

I only use abbreviations such as "ftw" "lol" "lmfao" "pls" and such.

The only thing that slightly bothers me is "u" instead of "you". I guess that's because in Dutch "u" is actually the formal version of "you" whereas "jij/je" is the informal version. It clashes somewhere deep down with my native language.

Other than that I tend to enjoy people making fools out of themselves rather than to get annoyed. And well, I was a little mouse once too~

I personally find grammer nazi's somewhat annoying. Sure, even I have the urge to correct someone when they spell something incorrectly, but if someone says "[Insert correct word here]*" everytime you accidentally spell something wrong... then it gets annoying

Also on the topic of YOLO I guess that makes me a knucklehead. I mainly use that word when I'm playing videogames and I'm doing something that could potentially get my character killed, or when I'm just being stupid.

I might be the only one, but I find it really annoying when people spell "balloon" as "bloon." To me it seems like such a silly way to spell it. How hard is it to type two extra letters?

I feel like people do this for this reason, well my reason anyways.
I sometimes abbreviate it because I feel like if I type too slow, the shaman might do something and I will be obviously last, same with proper spelling and grammar, or I'm just lazy c:
