The game is getting bigger, and its trying to appeal more people. With all games this will cause a more temporary player. One that doesn't stay for too long, but there are many.

Before there were more permanent players, but there were a few. Ofc there are alot of permanent players right now, but the percentage of those are smaller. And if you have a big tribe and know alot of people, then the chances are they are one of those temporary people.

On the first day I joined, I knew how to do all the basics of shamming, but my keyboard didn't work.. I had to copy and paste sentences like "My keyboard isn't working". Of course, people were all like "Idiot, do you really think we believe that? You're typing right now!" They also said more insulting stuff.. So if Transformice IS getting smaller, it'd probably be because of the rude community.. I honestly think, though, that Transformice does stay the same size, since a lot of the older people do not leave transformice.. Some leave, some stay.

I completely believe that Transformice is getting smaller, despite the opinions you're getting that say it's growing. Transformice is NOT getting bigger, and it's easy to see if people compare the current state of the game to its history. Rooms numbers in the 30's used to all contain around 25 mice. Now we're lucky to have up to room 10 filled up. Room 1 used to constantly have 50 mice. In fact, it had 100 mice daily at the right hour of the day (and no, Tig didn't need to be in the room for that to happen), and I never ever see that anymore. The only time you ever occasionally see that anymore is when a new event comes out. A bunch of people flock to the game to play. I've talked to people about this before in the game, and I'll tell you the suggestions I've gotten. I've heard people say it's because of the EN2 sever, that the population is just split up. Well no, that's not it because every time I go to EN2, it's really dead. There's only maybe 3 rooms filled. I've heard people say it's the minigames, that a bunch of people are playing the minigames. That's not true either, because most of those rooms are dead as well. I've even heard from other people how a lot of their friends and Tfm veterns have left and just don't play anymore. There's still a lot of people that play Transformice, so that's why some of these people might be saying it's getting bigger (I think Tfm had hit it's peak of minimal players sometime last year), but compared to a couple years ago, a huge chunk of the community has just quit.
