I have known some people draw to calm themselves.

I'd rather have compliments telling me what exactly is good about my art rather than having the repetition of "cute" being commented on my art. It's not just you who has the same problem, we as artists just choose not to mention it but I'm glad you did.

Oh I hardly every comment on your thread except this week but sorry if its bothering you and you are quite welcome to tell me if you want me to stop.

It does bother me, the A0xis, for a number of aesthetic and personal reasons. First of all, think of how terrible threads look that are spammed with comments from the same person every thee posts; each saying less than the post before (my personality is hideous enough). I know we just had this discussion about the merits of compliments but you really ought not to replace them with... whatever that was meant to be. Companionary? Sympathetic? Its... Try hard. I get the impression you're either commenting for the sake of commenting, or trying to start conversation with me. It's honestly so concerning when people try to be my friend, I have a track record of absolutely 0 when it comes to how many friendships I've successfully upkept. Everyone I speak with now understands they aren't my friend and it's kind of going okay without any emotional stake. I don't need it, I don't want it.
It's probably the thing thats been helping my mental situation for the past few days; acceptance, letting go. Its why the Golditale fiasco had to happen at some point, though many other things came up as a result of how I handled that situation which did some grievous short term harm, but I'm getting back on the track to recovery now (with 100% more meds than before).

Its like sometimes you've got to cut your leg off to get out of a bad situation. I don't need anyone else coming along wanting to put me in another of those situations. (I only have so many emergency exit limbs)

I love how sexually explicit your art is. It's not friendly, but it's good-bad way if you get me. Whenever I look at your art I feel like it's trying to seduce me into that luscious mouse booty, but I must refrain myself for the art is your creation and I may only look upon it.

I especially enjoy your gore looking art cause it's taboo it's like "you can't have me". Such a tease.

Though the next paining I have to upload tomorrow is... really very cute, ngl. (Its not my fault, I'm just too adorable to be edgy all day... ) But depending on when my slave labor is finished with the sketch I provided, we'll be back on a daily schedule with the dusty neglected little request thread.

I remember that drawing, Tuna, yes. I have been making a lot of changes and tweeks to my style in order to facilitate facial expression and the exaggeration of movement/poses, all while being mindful not to move in a direction which leads to stale and safe choices. I'm always making small and large variations to test all the waters. I don't anticipate ever finding the PERFECT style, but I do feel very happy and comfortable with the places I'm going and the pace at which I'm getting there. Recently I'm also playing with perspectives a bit, and I'm also probably gonna draw myself or various mice on the request thread interacting (because I don't often draw more than one mouse in a scene).

There's a lot I can do to improve myself and practice (which is what I opened the request thread for, anyway), so I'm really excited to continue drawing and working on my craft.

(Notice: if you are on the first or second page of my request thread it is officially too late to change or update your references-- I'm worth the long ass wait tho, don't even front.)
