Hi everyone, Mousechris here with an important message for all my map fans, other map makers and just people reading this in general.

I know there's quite a few people who look up to me, people who think I'm omega tier smart, a giga chad, the ultimate map maker. People often question why I'm not in the mapcrew. I've even had people freak out that I messaged them, referring to me as "one of the old legendary map makers" (you know who you are lol)

But that's why this message is really important for anyone who looks up to me.

You need to get vaccinated for COVID-19, seriously.

I have been sick all this past week and finally went to go see a doctor, and even though I myself am vaccinated, as it turns out, I have COVID-19. Now there is unfortunately a small chance I could die. Sure it's small, very small even, but it's there and fuck man I ain't done on this earth so you can bet your home boy don't want there to be no chance.

So just incase any of my fans didn't wanna get vaccinated, just remember if you wanna be a fuck ass amazing gangsta map maker like the OG Guh-Guh-Guh GAMer Mousechris. Then get your ass vaccinated, it's ok, I ain't mad at you, but if I matter to you then listen to me cause remember your homeboy is the #1 Map Maker, I even study Aerospace Engineering and I did my research on the Pfizer Vaccine that shit is lit bro it ain't bad no cap you should take it. It's the one I took, and it's the one keeping your boy alive right now.



I even took a video of me getting vaccinated just for you all, I was gonna make a vaccine map to try to spread awareness, but you know shit happens. And I wanna still get this out here while I still can, even if I can't really make maps right now.

So anyway, regularly scheduled map making posts will return once I have hopefully recovered. I have some very fun maps I want to make, and a post regarding this years New Year's map. Unfortunately I have absolutely no energy to make maps, I could barely write this, and I physically can't speak, I hope you all had a great New Year, and I hope this year we can make some absolutely fun maps.

Well I have some rather sad news about @7890593 the to be new years map.

After a very long time, of trying to come up with a reason to even keep making maps, I've just come to the honestly, just the logical conclusion.

The map will stay blank, because I, am going to (for the most part) stop making maps.
I need to focus on my career, and worse, the Mapcrew aren't even really looking for new maps, they've filled up all the categories, which true that doesn't effect me much because I tend to always try to make maps that are anti-generic. But the games finished guys. Meli left, the games getting 1000 people a month on steam. I just see no reason to keep beating a dead horse, a frankly dead horse that died like a year ago at least.

The map stays blank to symbolize one thing and one thing only, this year marks the start, of death. The death of the game, my own near encounter with death dealing with the Omnicron variant of covid, and lastly, most importantly.

The death of my want to join the Mapcrew; I'm done trying to join. I have pursued it for a literal decade now. Even if it happened nothing would be the same without Meli. I know many of you keep cheering me on telling me not to give up, that many of you feel inspired when I don't give up. But it's causing me to literally go insane.

I'm going to take a very, very long break away from the game, and this may potentially be my last post on maps. I decided while everything is dying Mousechris shouldn't die. I shouldn't reject Mousechris just because of my failures, because even through all those failures I still am more proud of myself then I'd ever be ever.

Hopefully someone else will take over the mantle of making a New Years map every year, I may come back every year just to do it myself. But I don't know if this games even gonna survive that long.

Lastly, to anyone I inspired, please never give up, I may not have become Mapcrew, but, while I can't tell you what I got, I will say it was well worth the effort. So even if you don't get what you want, maybe, just maybe you'll go down a legend, in whatever thing you're passionate about, I believe in you my brothers, and my sisters. I will love you no matter your evils.
