I think in order to get the badge, you need to give the King a specific number of cake slices

I was mostly right about the badge.
Also it's not pizza, it's a kings cake / pie!
My thought is you have to collect the pieces and use them (like the presents) but you give them to the king (or yourself) to eat. And what you get will most likely be random or a consumable and at least one person per map (might be pushing it) gets the trinket (traditionally a baby) and unlocks a title / badge.

You can obtain charm (=fève in french ?) thanks to the piece of cake

And will be there a new cartouche?

This is probably the new bar they will add on the log-in screen

My thoughts on the things you'd need to do :

Collect pieces of cake/pie.

In the kings castle map, trade pies for consumables or trophies.

When you have collected a specific amount of trophies, you can unlock a badge. Or you can trade the trophies for other things. (Back2school and Halloween event)

Or we have to collect a specific amount of pie in the event, and then take it to the king who gives us a consumable and a title/cartouche/badge. And the more pie we take to him, the more goodies we'll get
