Left as is: @7964120 - Relaxbir2#3456 - The portal gameplay is rather straightforward and generic, offering nothing new to the rotation. The honey and acid grounds don't change much in terms of the gameplay, due to the portal setting. @7964317 - Relaxbir2#3456 - There's a lot going on in this map, and can be overwhelming at first glance for newer shamans. It also feels like that some gameplay elements don't add too much, such as the water or cloud grounds, or the acid above the two holes - they don't change how the map flows. I also don't see the need to add 3 cheese and 2 mouseholes, especially so close to each other, it is redundant. And despite all these elements, building on this map feels very linear and generic, not too exciting, the top part of the map can mostly be ignored. @7964096 - Relaxbir2#3456 - Again, I feel like some grounds, such as the hones, or water, don't change the gameplay of the map, they feel useless on the map. The gameplay otherwise is uninteresting, and there is a lot of unused elements and space. @7964925 - Relaxbir2#3456 - The freezing grounds could be normal ice and not change much in the gameplay. It also feels unnecessary to make this map taller than the standard 400 px. The water ground can be completely avoided, and building is mostly just one large ramp. I understand wanting to add extra elements to your maps, but these are not incorporated very well into the gameplay. @7964052 - Sladkoru#5992 - This is an interesting idea, but I don't think the map really works as intended. I tested it multiple times, and the shamans always struggled to complete the map, it is unclear what they are supposed to do to succeed. Furthermore, the top wooden ground has collision with the boxes while the others don't, which causes further confusion regarding the gameplay. @7964054 - Sladkoru#5992 - On this map, it feels rather annoying to be able to only use runes, they are unstable and don't really provide any gameplay benefit. @7964055 - Sladkoru#5992 - This map has a similar issue as the box one - shamans generally find it difficult to understand what to do in order to efficiently help mice on this map. Success rates were close to 0, making this map not suitable for normal rotation. @7964210 - Kenaga#0607 - There are some very tight spaces on this map, making building frustrating and cluttered. The map is also very linear, which makes it lack variety. @7964610 - Zeus#6550 - The obstacle in the middle could be interesting in theory, but unfortunately it doesn't work very well. Most shamans in my tests struggled to get around it, they fell down and died, especially on short range shaman modes. There is not enough support to stand on while trying to build around the obstacle, and it is difficult for the average player. It's also not very obvious how the obstacle behaves when you jump into it, causing mass death, and so making the map unsuitable for normal rotation. @7963045 - Zeus#6550 - I liked the idea of needing 2 cheeses to access the hole. and it seemed to work as intended in my tests, However, I felt that the little circle grounds were a bit too restrictive, and caused building to take very long, and become cramped in tight areas. In my opinion, this concept would work better with a more simple layout, where the shaman can build around more freely. @7963987 - Wallem#3124 - This map doesn't really fit the guidelines for P4, there is barely any shaman-related gameplay. @7077244 - Kyclet#0000 - This map is a bit frustrating to play on, and I feel like that the skull tokens and acid grounds add too much difficulty for the average shaman. There are some rather tight spaces, resulting in cramped builds and mass-death. @7962018 - Rioxmaps#3702 - I find the idea of using freezing ground with antigravity interesting, however I don't think the lava ground adds too much to the gameplay. The lacking supports at the top of the map in the right side also make building a bit frustrating with the freezing slippery property, mice tend to fall off the map rather often, making it difficult to succeed for newer shamans. @7965366 - Aricela#6795 - That is a cute looking mouse, but collision properties of the grounds are rather unclear and inconsistent at first sight, and the building aspect of the map is minimal and boring. @7949928 - Aricela#6795 - It's quite annoying and chaotic to play on this map with the soulmate property. Shaman interaction is also minimal, thus not really fitting into the P4 category. @7949920 - Aricela#6795 - Again, this map doesn't have any meaningful shaman gameplay and interaction, and the gameplay is not enjoyable due to the linear layout, the lava ground, and the soulmate property. @7949582 - Aricela#6795 - This map is very cluttered with decorations, making it unappealing to look at. Otherwise, the layour is quite generic and boring, building on the map is not interesting or enjoyable. @7965669 - Defik#3611 - Very minimal building required, very linear, generic layout, making the map uninteresting. P1'ed: @5924212 - Urook#1131 - It's a simple and clean map that can be approached in a few different ways, I liked that, but ultimately it doesn't offer much novelty for the category. @7963577 - Urook#1131 - Nothing very interesting, but the antigravity and wind work okay with the simple layout. @7964053 - Sladkoru#5992 - This map seems to work better than the previous one, and I enjoy the unique take on gameplay. However the map loses its replay value rather fast. @7964611 - Zeus#6550 - This one is easier to work around than the previous map, however the gameplay feels rather forced and linear. Still, it is an interesting obstacle. @7965302 - R_Y#8502 - I like the idea of having those long planks between the acid grounds, it provides some nice support for builds. Otherwise, the gameplay is not very interesting, but okay for P1. @7965307 - R_Y#8502 - The water grounds provide some nice challenge, but the layout of the map is a bit linear and boring otherwise. I did enjoy that it can be approached in a few different ways though. @7961697 - Rioxmaps#3702 - Building in water is usually quite annoying, but I like that there are different paths to take, and the shaman can choose to build around it mostly, if needed. @7961982 - Rioxmaps#3702 - Bbuilding around the map is a bit boring and repetitive, but the ice grounds provide for a decent obstacle. @7965522 - Rioxmaps#3702 - The layout is a bit generic, but it works okay for a P1. Will be discussed: @5461256 - Weien#6059 - I like the concept of using wind and honey together, it makes for some unique gameplay interactions. Ignored: None |
