Left as is: @7062573 - Leiks#0000 - Mostly walljumping and running, which are not interesting for racing currently. Maps should also have more than one path, to offer diversity. @7819990 - Katwyn#1614 - The gameplay feels very short and the wind is only taking away from the enjoyment of the map, especially after collecting cheese. There's also few alternative routes/shortcuts, so the map will quickly become repetitive. @7925706 - Katwyn#1614 - I like the use of wind here. The shortcuts are nice, even if a bit precise. Some edits before we'll conside discussing: The bottom right wood platform breaks the flow, try placing the trampoline on top of it. Connect the water grounds to avoid loss of momentun and resubmit. @7923823 - Souris_2219C#0561 - The obstacles used are quite generic, involving a lot of running and walking, so the gameplay is not up to modern standards. @7924742 - Xaxadoooooo#0000 - The lava part is interesting and could be worked on. However, the left side of the map is basic and repetitive. Apart from some minor shortcuts, the alternative routes are not too exciting. @7923940 - Zeus#6550 - The shortcut at the beginning is cool and complex, but it's easy to learn and will lose its worth quickly. The map is oherwise automatic and surprisingly easy to complete. All obtacles used are relatively similar and generic, repeating each time. @7924123 - Pagoda#4165 - There is only one obstacle, which involves walljumping - not what we look for currently in P17. The use of symmetry is discouraged since it makes the gameplay repetitive. @7924126 - Pagoda#4165 - As above (duplicate). @7924714 - Fanytx#5653 - Only one path is available, so the gameplay is repetitive. The gameplay is generic and doesn't offer anything new. @7924743 - Zaturapro#8143 - Try to provide multiple paths in a map so players can alternate between them. Another issue is that the gameplay is not new in any way and automatic. The pace is too slow at times. @7924429 - Mary#6285 - This map looks like it was intended for bootcamp, as it's too difficult for racing and doesn't meet the guidelines. @7924999 - +zaz#0000 - The obstacles are poorly executed and inconsistent, especially the lava at the spawn. The way back to the hole is just walking, which is not too enjoyable. Lastly, try to add some shortcuts to diversify the gameplay. @7925635 - Fakedoaero#0000 - I find the walking at the start very unnecessary and tedious. The lava obstacle is rather automatic and the way back is not too enjoyale either. @7858359 - Croudly#5192 - Fairly generic and not too interesting. The symmetry makes the gameplay repetitive. I found walljumping is used too abundantly too. @7925248 - Zaturapro#8143 - Sadly, the map only involves one path and excessive walljumping, which is not what we're looking for in racing anymore. Try using more various obstacles and providing more shortcuts. @7925278 - Sin#9948 - The gameplay is a bit slow and linear and the obstacles are too simple. Try using more complicated concepts to enable players to make more effort. There also is a lack of path diversity and shortcuts. @7926319 - Antoni0#8587 - Original idea, but it needs a better execution. The area under the cheese is a bit too mass deathy, but aside from that, there is a lack of complexity and challenge. All obstacles rely on the same principle, which makes the gameplay repetitive. @7777272 - Jasseh#0000 - Lovely idea, I'd give it a try if not for the monotonous use of speed tokens. The obstacles simply don't feel different from each other. Try to restructure the map to include more variety, but keep the tokens. @7743348 - Bautipro#5357 - The fastest shortcut is nice, but a bit precise. Given how easy it is to break the flow due to the unpredictable lava ground, this might not be enjoyable in the long run. The cheese part can be inconsistent if the faster routes are failed. @7923200 - Antoni0#8587 - The map certainly has a nice flow, but little alternatives or shortcuts. The gameplay is also automatic. @7925896 - Demolidor#7548 - A bit too precise and mass-deathy. Racing maps should contain multiple paths and faster ways to rewards more skilled players. @7925555 - +zaz#0000 - The map lacks shortcuts and has only one path, so the gameplay is repetitive and will quickly become boring. The obstacles are not too original, try to work out something more innovative. @6262489 - Cowbty#0000 - The obstacles are too simple and the map lacks its path diversity. @6263291 - Cowbty#0000 - This map has some improvements compared to the other one, such as the shortcuts, but it is still quite single-path. The obstacles are pretty basic too and lack the challenge. @7876710 - Souris_2219C#0561 - Quite hard, but also lacking gameplay-wise. Racing maps should involve some type of shortcut and multiple ways of being completed. @6184978 - Uolesportee#0000 - Pretty uninteresting and basic obstacles. Shortcuts are not present either, so the map will become repetitive right away. P1 is fine. @6202855 - Uolesportee#0000 - As above. Also keep in mind that using excessive chocolate ruins the flow of the map. @7926262 - Ituitaba#0000 - There is only one way of completing the map and not possibilities to get ahead, so tehe quality is not enough for a perm. Try elaborating your obstacles and adding more various paths. @7926264 - Ituitaba#0000 - Same as above. Avoid walljumping, as it's tedious and no longer sought for in racing. @7926324 - Kokx#0690 - There is only one path and the gameplay is quite boring and linear. Make sure your map has multiple paths and obstacles that require active use of skills. @7926367 - Sinland#0482 - Apart from the cornerjump, the gameplay is slow and not too interesting. Despite the presence of multiple paths, they are still lacking. @7926626 - Sinland#0482 - Although the layout is unusual, the lava is unpredictable and throws players in random directions. Luck-based maps are not encouraged in P17. @5724571 - Pgmsule#0000 - The map only offers one path and barely give players the chance to get ahead. Try using more various paths. @6127801 - Pgmsule#0000 - Precision is the only aspect of the gameplay, The obstacles are, needless to say, identical and thus repetitive. The concept is unique, but rather unenjoyable. @7926551 - Meliora#5846 - Hi Meliora! No P1 thread exists, maps get protected when members find them enjoyable. Submit your map to the most appropriate category and follow the review feedback you receive. @7926788 - Qe_P#9856 - The map only has one path and provides little variety. The obsacles are also pretty generic and automatic. @7927140 - Z1u0#0000 - Nice shortcut at the end, but aside from that the map is lacking variety and does not offer the diverse paths that a racing map is expected to have. The obstacles are linear and not innovative. @7927120 - Jim#3189 - The map is mostly walking and walljumping, which is typically not considered enjoyable in racing. There is a clear lack of path variety. The ice block at the right blocks the flow and is unnecessarily hard to surpass. @7927312 - Pdf#5764 - Lots of walking and walljumping, which is not what we're expcting in P17 currently. Try adding shortcuts and creating more than one way to complete the map. @7831623 - Xdapoloxd#0000 - I like the originality of the obstacles, but there is still a lack of path variety and the difficulty is too high for racing. @7831635 - Xdapoloxd#0000 - As above, the map is a bit too difficult for P17 and does not fully meet the guidelines. @7748453 - Tdpnice#0000 - As above. The right and top sides are a bit lacking as well. It's a bit tedious to repeat a large section of the map with cheese. @5867810 - Weien#6059 - The use of treadmills here is rather basic and unoriginal. There is also only one path and a clear absence of shortcuts, which are essential in racing. Dodue is also unnecessary. @4884828 - Weien#6059 - Quite linear and some parts, such as the start and bottom right, are inconsistent. Try adding more paths to create variety and shortcuts as well. The defilante tokens seem random and do not serve a clear purpose. @7928055 - Sannobr#0604 - The trampoline structures are luck-based and the cheese part is too tedious. The map only involves one path, so the gameplay would become boring pretty soon. P1'ed: @7711072 - Xaxadoooooo#0000 - It's nice to have alternative routes, but both have downsides on their own. The bottom path is just sliding back and forth with a bit of precision, while the middle part involves the same basic trampoline obstacles. Walljumping may be inevitable, though I like the shortcuts in the middle. P1 overall. @7926565 - Ikke#0095 - The first part of the map is a bit too precise and the rest is a repetition of the same obstacle. The constant opportunity to get ahead is a plus though. P1. @7445785 - Tdpnice#0000 - The map has been discussed before if I recall correctly, but no significant changes have been made. I find the obstacles a bit generic, but they are well executed and smooth. P1 will do. Will be discussed: @7925074 - Fakedoaero#0000 - Short, but very complex. The middle structure offers a lot of various paths and the map can play in many different ways. The right side might need some improvement, but otherwise it's worth a shot.
