| I don't care if your under or over 13 as the TOS states, I care if you maturity meets that standard, for most people it does not. |

| oh god this reminds me of an incident a while back where I got into an argument with another player who then turned to guilt-tripping everyone saying 'i'm 9 and this player is going to make me kill myself!!!' yeah. And I agree with what Fier said just above - funny how you think you have the rights to swear at 'immature' teenagers, isn't that an immature thing to say in itself? Wow, but the swearing thing - in most cases, I don't think parents are aware. I also don't see that aspect as much of a problem atall, as it's pretty widespread anywhere. I can't see why people would have such a problem with this? I'm sorry not everyone can grow up in the perfect environment with perfect people who have never swore or said anything less than nice - I think you probably need to wake up to reality and step off your high horses. Also, where people are blaming older people using it in game - it really isn't that, children get so my infulences from elsewhere. Television, school and even parents. So why go an blame a selection of people to shield the younger kids from blame? It's not like they're completely oblivious to what they're saying. Yes, at times, young young children can be annoying, but whether someone is annoying or not is subjective. If it gets on your nerves that much, just mute them. |

| I haven't read any of the previous replies, so I have no idea what the topic is right now x_x But we really can't avoid young kids joining. It just kinda sucks because sometimes they... don't act really smart. For example, my cousin still thinks that when someone is jumping around the map (due to lag or hax), it's because he's skilled. ;~; Also TFM really looks like a kid's game. Ofc 7 year olds would play this. You have no idea how shocked I was when i first came on and saw people cursing. (btw, just cus someone is immature doesnt automatically mean theyre 11. ive seen plenty of example of people 15+ who act childish here) |

| I don't mind at all if children is playing Transformice as long as they don't create trouble to the elder players. Transformice must have something that can attract children to play this game, so we cannot avoid that from happening even if you say this game is for 13+ but in the same time, we also have to understand some children due to their childish behaviour and thinking are way to different than what mature people think. Parents should also take notice about what their children do on the Internet like checking their history browser, monitoring them when they are on the Internet, etc. Besides, children must also learn how to hand over the problem to the elders so that they can help to deal with it instead of the children because it can cause misunderstanding and flaming between the child player and the elder players. Swearing is a normal thing on the Internet. Children can be easily influenced due to their childish thinking by the elders but why must we always put the blame on the elders when it was the parents fault for not monitoring their children? Maraoone a dit : They said like that because it is the way how they behave is like an 11 year old child, so that is why they said like that. |

| Jesus, I'm 11 years old and this makes me wanna quit TFM at the moment. In fact, I haven't been playing for weeks. Since the 5th of July I stopped. I really just go on the forums, really, from now on. I mean, why do Tigrounette and the TFM team just do it for 13+, TFM looks so much like a kiddie game. Like in the thread "Why do you think mice explode into bubbles when they die?" and Shamousey's reply was "Because it's a FRIENDLY KID game and an explosion of blood and guts would turn some people away." so that's why I DON'T understand why the game's 13+. (My keyboard can't be full of reason.) |

Haditamagica a dit : Whiskypickle a dit : Pretty much explained above. It is not Atelier 801 doesn't allowed children under-aged to play Transformice, you can still play but with your parents or guardian permission that is. |

| I think you guys are grouping everyone under 13 into one big group of annoying, sexual brats. I'm 12, and I barely act like that. Alot of my friends are under 13 too, and they're sensible enough. Transformice is basically a little kids game anyway. Cute mice, outfits, ect. I've never heard of the 13+ rule and I kinda think its ridic... I suppose if you wanted to fix the problem, you couldn't. It's not just tfm, but all of society. You see 9 year old girls dressing up way older than they should, everyday. They probably do it to act 'cool' and be 'accepted', because, admit it, some of people over 13 say and do immature things too. Where do you think they get the ideas? Anyway, I actually haven't had a problem with anybody on tfm yet, because the rooms I go in are pretty friendly, so if there's anything you disagree with lol... |

Haditamagica a dit : The reason why the game is 13+ is not the content but the fact that it's an online game with chat feature. Might want to take a look at how age rating works on games. |

Muitomice a dit : But, there're some kid games with chat feature, like Club Penguin. Anyway, if the game really IS for 13+, where you create your account, there should've been an ADVICE at least at the bottom. |

| The difference between Transformice chat and Club Penguin chat is that one actually has a functioning filter that can't be turned off. Transformice is completely open chat wise and there's no restrictions, only if the mouse somehow doesn't know how to turn it off. |

Shadowwinter a dit : I know, but as I said, there should've been an ADVICE at least at the bottom, warning you that the game's for 13+. |

| If anything it should have been at the start in big bold text because no one bothers reading the TOS or whatever, everyone hits accept and forgets about it later every server restart. I don't think this is an issue though, honestly. |

| but come on you can't exactly baby your child for life to keep them away from swearing etc., or you're going to end up with a kid who has a lot of problems and insecurity issues. I can't see the issue with people younger than 13 being in an environment with bad language - they're going to learn about it soon enough so what exactly is the issue? |

Shadowwinter a dit : If this thread is causing too much chit chat it should be deleted if there isn't any issue about it. There're already TONS of under-aged (incluiding me) who didn't know that TFM was for 13+, so don't effing blame us cuz we didn't know! So many uder-aged I know, but it's already done, it can't be fixed. Hoodiedoodie a dit : *chuckles* That's entirely true. I mean, no-one can be stopped by learning bad language. It's heard anywhere and some day, a parent is gonna end up being asked by their kid, "What does Fu---ck mean? What does Sh--it mean?" etc. It's life..! |

| I wasn't blaming you nor anyone, but it's not like the admins/mods are just going to up and ban you off Transformice completely. Nothing's going to happen to you or anyone else under the age of 13 so there's no need to worry. Besides, you seem mature enough to me as someone that won't cause any issues in the first place. As for the thread itself, it's a discussion so a lot of chating is supposed to happen about it or else it'd have low discussion value and possibly be locked. As long as it doesn't start any flaming or something along the lines of that everything should be fine. Also as I said in my post before, I'm not targeting a specific age group because I've seen people of all ages act immaturely in their own ways. Weither or not they actually grow up is beyond me, at least there's the possibility that I won't ever see them again though. Transformice is kind of a different story though because people like to regularly visit rooms, but that's a different topic. |

Shadowwinter a dit : I didn't say you were blaming any you-know-what. And what I meant on the delete-thread-from-chit-chat is to say that there's nothing you can do about it. It's already, boom boom powx, done. But if the admis or whatever don't know the age of yours how are they gonna delete accounts? Do they find out in the chat when someone says "i'm random age"? Anyway, if my acc is gonna be deleted, I have to say that IDFC because TFM is no longer fun to me. *starts listening to "Do You Really Want to Hurt Me?" by Culture Club* |

| Hello dad is a cursing machine so I am not bothered by others cursing, but I learned to refrain myself because of some personal problems. But the thing that pisses me too is the little kids on this game which isn't something really bad itself, but they learn to swear. And hey, from who they learn that? Seriously, I don't think an innocent 13- y/o comes here with such a colorful vocabulary, they need to learn it from somebody. Other than, is just a chain reaction. But yeah, there's another story if bad things are said in the family too. That would be how the kid is actually risen. Btw, I don't think this is only an internet problem anymore. I go outside and I hear really distrubing things from 10 y/o too... |

| Once again, I don't think your account will be deleted. As for the thread, I don't think it's a bad idea to let people blow off some steam and possibly find a solution like making a private room for players that just want to get away from the community, but that's just a thought. |

Methusalah a dit : The swearing can be disturbing, but it's life... Accept it. It may offend you but you know what I've said. I learned how to swear from my mom, since I only live with her and my doggy. I just heard her say "fu---ck" or "sh--it" when something wrong happened and I later found outwhat they meant and how they were written in songs by Avril Lavigne, when I was listening to her back and forth. I barely listen to her now, mostly because, I listen to Culture Club or The Cure. And (LOL) as I write this I'm listening to "Just Like Heaven" by you-probably-know-who. I'm really different from my classmates in the first place (sorry to change subject). They really are hooked on the new stuff. They don't seem to give a cheese about what I_ hear and even my teacher, said I was more mature than any of my classmates. I'm older than them too, they're bunch of 10 y/o and I'm 11. The reason I'm in a class with kids that are NOT my age is because I live in a different country far away from the country where I was born. When I came here (ofc.) I didn't know Turkish so they made me go to 1st grade. Then in a different campus of the same school, 2nd grade. That sucks. And it's funny how I'm feeling so happy when I write this while my mind is screaming with rage inside my head. |

Methusalah a dit : Methusalah a dit : They can't be all that innocent if they run around shooting out cusses if you ask me. Most of the cursing etc comes from parents, music, and tv; Then it gets into the schools and just creates a massive snowball effect. I highly doubt there are many kids who "picked up" cussing from tfm. |
