Adding 50 cheese to the price per newly-saved outfit would be a much better way of implementing this if you ask me.

I don't mind an incentive to spend money. However with the current prices, to me, it's an incentive to simply ignore the feature and do something better with my cheese/fraises/time. And I really was looking forward to a feature like this since over a year.

Honestly I'm kind of insulted. It was such a wanted feature!!! On one hand I'm actually glad the community was given what they wanted as that rarely happens... but this is more of a slap in the face than anything else to me.

50, 500, 1000, 2000, 3000, 4000 would have been more reasonable. I use three outfits- they're all the same things in different colours. I will continue to do it as I always have and when I want to look different I will sit in my tribe house and take two minutes to change things.

The fraises too- second is 100 right? That is five customisations- why would anyone...

Sydo, could you name all of the prices to 20 outfits? I believe many would really love to know :D

To summarize:

ADMINS: "Hey everyone! Please tell us about your suggestions for the game; we'll try to implement them as an apology for the issues regarding the community platform."
COMMUNITY: "Wow, thank you! We'd love to have slots where we can save our outfits."
ADMINS: "Ok, here you go! You can have our apology for a completely reasonable price of 4,000 cheese! :)"

I very well appreciate this initiative, but like others have mentioned, this feels like a slap in the face. You finally give us what we want only to make us pay ridiculous amounts for it. On top of that, it's supposed to serve as an apology to the community--I mean, who would've thought that apologies came with such a ridiculous price?

*New goal* Buy all slots that are possible
Edit: I will not use a single fraise for that though

1 free slot, then 50 for the second, then 1000, and so on. At least that way people can be guaranteed at least 2 reasonable slots without feeling they're jumping the ball to 1000.

If this is all about database space, why not let the players export an outfit as XML code? (For free.) No data space wasted. Sure, you would still have to save it in a textfile, but you'd only have to copy one piece of text back into the game to equip an outfit.

As for the prices of save slots, I think it would be more reasonable to have them increase exponentially, like this:

1st: 100 cheese
2nd: 200 cheese
3rd: 400 cheese
4th: 800 cheese
5th: 1600 cheese
6th: 3200 cheese (no need to go any higher, I guess)

It's not about database space... That's just another excuse from the admins :( we've seen how they are happy to lie to us (The whole mods being fired incident) and they obviously haven't changed as this shows.

This idea is great and its good they implemented a community suggestion with so much potential. But asking us to spend so much cheese or give them money to unlock it? That's not an apology for the awful community platform issues we're still experiencing even now, that's an insult.

This should be something availiable in vanilla tfm, Maybe 3 different outfit slots to save and then if extra are wanted, extra can be purchased for a REASONABLE (under 500 or so imo) amount of cheese.

As damn brilliant as that idea is, we have to remember the average age of the TFM user is now ten and they won't know what the hell to do with it.

The Module API returns a very small thing for player's outfits, that includes furs/customisations/etc. - I wouldn't be surprised if the main database stores them in a similar way. I can see how it'd take up a lot more space if everyone started saving 100 outfits, but it shouldn't be enough to reason these prices.

Too bad we can't have refunds because if this was actually an apology for bearing through the Community Platform, I would have thought that they would at least have put it at a discounted price for around 2 weeks or something.

(Not that I think the prices are sensible, but this is what should have been done at they very least.)

There seems to be a small visual difference with outfits compared to other things in the shop.
