We fixed most of the issue related to this command thanks to the help of mods and MC, but we know it's also better if a larger number of people test it. We probably missed several issues. That explains the creation of this thread.

The game is so much nicer to play for me this way. I do have a few comments though.

- Some of my mechanisms work only with a sync on a specific framerate. Causes for this have already been listed in previous posts, but mostly in relation to mice behaviour rather than for maps.
- There will always be people that feel they need the option to play on 36fps. Currently they have that option. Choosing a standard later on will feel like a downgrade to these people.

With the mapcrew still (seemingly?) busy dealing with the last wave of update-induced broken maps, it might be smart to wait a little with choosing a new standard. Although I definitely like 60fps better, I am aware that my computer is brand new. As such I think it would be very considerate to turn things around; make 60fps the standard and provide a 36fps option in the settings menu. This menu, after all, already features other lag-reducing options.

Instead of reducing the framerate that introduces artificial difficulty, why not just allow players to have lower graphics settings?

Nice command, I use everytime now, I like to see the game run smoothly.

I'm convinced most lower graphics settings lead in some sense to the game being more difficult to play. But yeah, that'd be great. I'm just saying that if 60fps becomes the standard, the option for using 36fps shouldn't necessarily be removed for those that have old computers or just refuse to get used to the new standard.

The thing that is totally wrong about this game is that there is WAY too much that is client-dependent. This is why things like hacks and the whole reason new features like fps60 break a lot of movement and maps. I feel like they just do this for a shortcut to lessen the strain on their servers.

I wouldn't be surprised if they wanted to, to be honest. It's a perfectly reasonable thing to want to do.

And it's a win-win situation for both sides in my eyes--Transformice servers are less strained and the players get a faster frame rate (so the game is a little smoother).

Sydoline this command is like so awesome, It helps remove lag, it makes you look like your performing well. Now I dont get shuttering lag like I used to.

And yeah I think only good computers can handle this, such as cores like i3-i7. but still this is very well.

This command is great, but some maps are almost impossible to do with this command. Hope a command like fps36 appears to go back to the way it was.

You can use /fps36 if you want. It's in the range from /fps36 to /fps60. You'll just have to relog unfortunately :/

I doubt it's from fps60--maybe people thought you were hacking and reported you, or you might have been in a minigame room?
