For all the people who wonder what it does, I can give you some things that you might find this info usefull for.

Ping is how much hole lag you have. Example: If you have 156ms ping, you have 0.156s hole lag.

Ping is how long it takes for the server to register your location and movement and to tell you the locations of others and objects. Also keep in mind for the server to tell a other player what location you are at it will go by their ping.

High ping --> Horrible syncroniser. If you are the sync and you have 2234ms, that means your sync information will send 2 second delayed. FOR EVERYONE.

What? Normal is lower than 100? My worst is 230 though... i usually have 117. I don't lag at all...
