What about people who can't log onto TFM? For example, their laptop's screen got broken and they had to pay 100s of pounds to get it fixed and they were so relieved to get back on TFM but now their tribe is a state...

I agree to this. If I went to collage when I'm older, or get a boyfriend (also when older), or etc, I may not be active on tfm. Either have an account that has bought fraises once (or over) before never be deleted (never ever), or lower the status to 100 cheese obtained within a month (then is unable to be deleted).

There are many accounts that haven't been used in years. This'll give new players a wider selection of usernames to choose from.

I don't think this would be a good idea. One year is not that long of a time, and I definitely don't touch this game in one year increments and don't want my username stolen. I do not even know of any other services / games that recycle usernames that haven't been used. How confusing would it be if someone on your friends list (or someone in general with a username you recognize) just one day ends up being some new player. Too much confusion, too many problems.

I'm also pretty sure I've seen this suggestion like 5 times (and it's gotten shot down each time).

I would say have requirements after that 1 year period... Like the account has to have over 1,000 cheese gathered by the end of that year (because if you don't gather over 1k cheese in a year you're obviously not playing that often or even trying when you do play). I wouldn't say like 100 cheese gathered because I could get 100 cheese in a single day and then quit playing forever.

It was be devastating for someone who would like to come back just to find their account was deleted.
Don't erase all of they're work on TFM, I just don't find it fair.

There are pros and cons for this, honestly

Pros
The useless accounts/backups that were forgotten could be deleted
Whoever wanting an already taken username could finally use it


Cons
Some people that had a problem going on(can't log on, broken computer, etc.) would have it unfair, not being able to go on Transformice in time to tell them not to delete the account
People aren't able to get the cheese in time, due to school and homework or being grounded
The absent players may not see the email, since they switched to another email and never used the new one for TFM or just doesn't use the e-mail account as much
The stats and cheese would be gone

Some people forget their accounts or can't play on them because fidderent reasons. It would be really unfair if their accounts got deleted just because they had special situations. And even if some1 quits TFM for 1 or 2 years, he/she might still come back one day. How would you feel if you came back and found your pro and beloved account no longer there?!
Some people really worked hard on getting so cool and pro stats. It's not fair to erase all their work and consider it useless! Especially for those who got fraises and wasted their money just to find their account DELETED.

I've seen this suggestion many times on TFM and other games and honestly it always comes across as people being just as greedy as those with tons of alts - essentially you want names to be deleted for "inactivity" so that you can use them. It just comes across as hypocritical..

Pretty much this. You all want names like Kitten and Pikachu to be freed up so that you can rush out and take those names for yourself and probably never actually use them, just like the original owners.

That's why it will only be possible by fraises to avoid abuse.

As it was mentioned before, you can simply put limits to the rule, making the account undeleteable after paying for the shop, or when it reaches above 500 cheese gathered.

A person who has less than 500 cheese gathered WON'T EVER MIND about it being erased after a year, you can make 500 cheese in less than a week being a pure newbie and playing for short periods of time.

So yes, it can be supported. Also, if the risk and the non-support for this is about people having alts, well, alts are useless if it's for doing nothing.
You can just create and alt at the moment if the old one had nothing and it's been deleted, or just play as guest if you are manting to troll. lol

No. I will leave TFM (I rlly wanna to) but there are other players, who can be just bored from the game, but they can connect if they wanna play again

I disagree. No support. People may be really busy and migrt notbe able to play tfm cuz they are busy. Or maybe theyre travelin for a year and might forget their laptop or something

guys, there could be limits where you can buy frasies and never have your account delete,d or a certain amount of cheese gathered (500 is good) to make sure its not deleted
however, a year can sound a bit short, so why not a year and a half, or 2 years? either way, all those 2010 accs that nobody goes on will be deleted, but people that, lets say, broke their laptop and dont get it fixed for a year, still has time to play
but really, i think if you log in for at least 10-20 minutes within the year and a half/2 years, it should "reset" your time, so youre able to keep your account.
but really, there's so many pros and cons to this, it's redonkulous.
