I really hope they limit the colors that can be used to customize them, bright colors will only hurt my eyes and annoy me xP

Atelier801, please don't let mice blind our eyes with bright neon colours. And add a limitation like this one:

Not being able to pick colours within that circle would prevent bright blinding colourful messes that can make your game look like puke. Might be nice if there were such limitations for item customisations as well (since they make things look really weird).

If they just come out with those two themes rn all the boys will buy the machine lookin' themed stuff and all of the girls will buy the VDay themed ones

I like Impure's idea a lot.
Other than that, still no sign of old items design coming back for now. And since it looks like we can customize the colors, here is a suggestion: they could add all the old items as a way to have the choice to customize the color of the basic items. This way they won't seem redundant since they're similiar to the standard ones we have now (and I guess these will not even be in the shop, much like the default brown fur).

Omg i hope the old items come back!! And i love the idea of different sham items (even though the plain boards and balloons are great bc nostalgia (~: )

Tbh though I don't much like the idea of having the sham items be color-customizable. For one thing, the items themselves will probably take some getting used to- I keep thinking one of the mech balloons is actually an anvil. But putting custom colors on top of that seems like it's just going to make a big confusing mess of color (especially if people pick really bright, obnoxious ones, as Impuredeath pointed out).

Being able to customize your own mouse is fine because it doesn't take up a huge amount of the game, but as sham you can place items all over the map, and that's going to make for a lot of messy, bright, and overall confusing builds.

I personally like the original colors better anyway just because they stick to their themes and because each color was picked to work together and not be too hard on the eyes. You can tell the V-Day items are V-Day items not just because of their shape, but also because all pieces in the set have more or less the same colors to tie the theme together. c:

That's just me though- it's nice to see people getting excited about this! I like Impure's idea of making a forbidden colors area so we won't have colors that are too harsh.

Expectations
To be honest, I really hope that these skins would be purchasable with mainly cheese and a few with fraises. I see it as now a lot of shop items have been purchasable via fraises. And I do know it is how Atelier801 keeps TFM running, but I'd rather see players working hard for items rather than just buying them with money. Also it'd probably be more convenient for the many players who can't buy fraises due to reasons regarding financial issues or parental issues.

My Beliefs & Experiences
Not only that, but I think people would value the items more because they actually put effort into gaining the items. But then again, I can't really tell what people will think. I've only been able to purchase fraises a few times, and that's it, so for the majority of my items and customizations I have put effort and time into them.

Overall Thoughts
I look forward to the update anyways. It's a good idea and can let players have a wider variety of style. A ton more possibilities can be unlocked with this as players can customize their items as they see fit with their outfits. Though it may cut off the original simplicity of the items, it makes things interesting and also more pleasing to the eye.
