this would be so fun, like Chopix Adventures on another game called Chobots (which is now closed but look it up)

Free saves isn't fun.

Maybe the skill could be regulated to only normal rooms. I can imagine this would be very difficult in some maps. Could also make it like planks (so there are cuts between each x units you draw).

What about a plain old classic mode? 0 skills can be used, including passive ones like +time, friction, bigger range etc. It would be nice if there was an absolute basic mode reminiscent of 2010. It probably sounds counter intuitive but whatever is added will be no different to the rest of the modes because all of the shamans rely on their skills only more often than not.

Divine mode is already restricted and all [except they have all the new skills don't they?], and people can remove skills if they want to, but no one ever wants to because you don't get anything out of it, but add shiny new titles and omg some people might ACTUALLY be tempted to learn how to shaman properly.

I think you should add a new type of plank, maybe a very sensitive plank like the v plank but harder to obtain? And then this shaman can only use that, a certain amount of nails, and about 30 boards/boxes/balls/anything you can spawn. One last thing, I think it should have it's feather longer and it's wings tucked to her/his back. That would be pretty cool. :D

Yes...this, please. Since skills were released I now see far too many shamans who rely entirely on the green skill tree (springs, teleports, cheese/hearts...) and do very little if any actual building. Divine mode could have been this way if it weren't for the combination of skills and the larger shaman range.

Can look OP, but just the fact of no nails will make all the thing :P
The visual can be 3 feathers on the head and maybe spirally attached ribbon on the tail.

Classic shamans could have a plain name like they original did. No bubble that shows most used skill tree and level. Good indicator that there are no skills.

Maybe there should be something like you only have very small planks and 2 skills of your choice to help the mice get cheese. But you only have 5 small planks so you had to choose wisely on your 2 or 5 skills

I like the idea of an Insanity Mode.

No nails.
No skill tree.
No totem.

Though I worry some maps may become impossible.

one where you are a cat, and all the mice are cats.... it would be called "cat mode" and its colour would be orange and/or red

Spirit mode, equivalent in difficulty to Divine, in which you can summon objects instantly but *Insert major hinder here*?

divine mode extreme:
No skills allowed. You are not allowed to make anymore extra blue nails

There should be a custom mode where you could mix modes up for example you put for yourself hard mode with divine mode rules(i mean actually infinite spawn range, and green nails only, BUT you have a totem)
I wouldn't personally give it a counter of saves, cause probably people would start making some super easy modes and then use them for easy saves etc...

And by using it, you'd have that ENTIRE skill set at once, but when the shaman mode is off, you're back to your origional skill trees.
Could be called Single Shaman. :3

Dream Mode
In Dream Mode, you automatically have all the skill trees at once, but you cannot use any of the main shaman items (boards, canons, boxes, etc) and every map you shaman is darkened (the map is all black except for a small bit of light encircling the shaman or mouse). However, the light encircling the shaman is 5x bigger.

If anything no skill modification. Doesn't feel worthy of titles or stats though.
