I know it is harsh of us for it but we really did expected... more.
I am fine with the idea of a cartoon, I am not against that but if you want to show a teaser, at least make it appealing.

To showcase a product with so much flaws is so unprofessional it makes us artist cling, even if it is just a teaser!
I can see the number of hours placed into it but if you are making a cartoon for a game, your quality of work will affect the other company, and that would be 801.

I honestly still have faith in 801 and I just don't want that to fade away just because another company is bring their reputation down.

Another project that we'll wait until 2099 to launch. I don't think is a bad idea, but they must correct all errors that Transformice have before making more projects (which will be abandoned btw).

Atelier801 isn't working on this, it seems; only gave the rights to the name.

If the cartoon-well, maybe the mice-is/are silent, then maybe this cartoon series would kind of be like the Tom and Jerry cartoons?

I'm not usually a fan of 3D animation but I think the style shown in the teaser is pretty cute. Not really sure where the comparisons to Food Fight come from, when I saw those comments I was expecting there to be freaky stiff movement and was surprised to see only still images when I finally watched the video. At the moment I see no reason to write this off as being destined to be horrible.

While I do agree that it would have looked better in 2D (if more money was available), I think the cartoon is an interesting concept and it is not going to hurt the users at all. Good thing you're not going to be forced to watch it in case you really do hate the show, right? I personally see it as a creative way of getting Atelier801 out there, which is exactly what their aim should be (alongside fixing bugs, yeah yeah I know).

They're not real fans. :')

It's funny how high people's expectations are from just a teaser. We don't really get to see the actual animation from this yet just how the models looks.

My friend and I are fighting over which is better, the models or the background. She thinks the models are really good and thinks the background is okay while I like the background and think the models are okay.

Just because someone looks poorly on something doesn't mean they're not a "real fan." I'd like to think I'm some sort of fan of the game given almost five years of playtime through the best and worst. :P

I feel like this 'Animated series' would be more beneficial if it were animated in a 2-dimensional way. It would look cuter and attract audiences that weren't familiar with Atelier801.

And let's be honest. The supposingly main characters look pretty dang ugly.
