Yeah I thought so too I'm not really fond of the strawberry fur design. I think they judged the fur based on the idea then they brought the aesthetic appeal to judgement

Honestly, if you ask me, I got pretty sad about the results. I mean I'm glad I actually got into a runner up place, like I never usually have the luck for that. But all the furs that were before me weren't even natural. And I understand that people look for more aesthetic furs, but surely a rodent fur would suit a game about rodents more, right..?

Either way, that's my two pennies on the outcome.

gah, i just really like it, the opossum fur is just a qt design (also the goldfish fur)
i should draw them both at some point

The furs were judged by the overall design idea, not the detail they had. Of course, the right amount of detail is needed, and if you ask me, as the contest's host, lots of the furs with 'little detail' & a very good idea did make it to the last part of voting.

As a side note, thanks for the feedback!

I was happy when my fur won because I thought people might like it... I was wrong. I'm sorry for winning. I'm sure that admis will add better furs in the future.

It's not that people don't like your fur but I think it's just that people focus more on the aesthetic appeal. Yes your fur was a great idea and it does look good but in my opinion I think the gold fish fur just LOOKS better. Also lots of people did buy your fur when it was released meaning they liked it enough to use money on it.

Congratulations! They're all so pretty, my favorite one is the goldfish :-3 All of them are really great!
