This simply-structured map make FPS Fall. As the FPS is usually 60 in other maps (even in those complicated-structured maps), this map make the game goes crazily at 16 frames per sec. I don't think this map should be banned from appearing; i like its artwork. But to find out and fix how it makes FPS fall is a must.

This might be an individual issue. I cannot see any change in fps and the map doesn't contain anything that could cause it. Fine as is.

I think a map that literally T bags the player is kinda inappropriate for P3+, max P1 imo. But on top of that the sync based mech causes serious luck gameplay for firsts.

This can happen occasionally, but it usually can only be achieved if players try to get stuck on purpose. Map is fine.

P18 - @7829862: I'm not sure if this was just me and if it can be recreated, but I spawned and got stuck in a box/the ground and wasn't able to move, before dying due to the moving border in defilante maps. A mod said I should post it here and suggest to move the mouse spawn a bit higher.

The mice spawn is fully above the box, so the problem is sync related. Not a major problem, staying as is.

Minimalist usually doesn't work in defilante as the mode was not intended to be compatible with it. The team has previously decided that such maps will not receive edits.

P9 - @331800 : I don't know if this can be considered a reason to remove maps, but I think it should be something to watch out for in game maps: Very old maps that had their routes and obstacles unusable due to shaman skills. Note that this map if the shaman has a large cheese skill active, the player will not be able to get through without taking the cheese and entering the lair on his own, which was the right thing to do.

@499472 - The gameplay is very short, in just 7 seconds it is possible to complete the map. I suggest putting double spawn, one in each hole and changing from p6 to p7.

@7840384 - The map proves to be constantly way to hard for the survivors- as the majority of the time no one survives. Even if there is only one sham due to the fact one is afk'ing, the entire room is still wiped out. I play survivor near enough 24/7 7days a week and from all my experiences with this map it's always ended up with everyone dying. I believe the map could be slightly edited and submitted for the P10 rotation as it would suit the rotation alot better than it currently does for P24.

@391738 - P10 - The shaman is heavily disadvantaged in this map. Mice will continuously run up the ramp, which the shaman will have to defend in order to not be hugged. This makes it near impossible to properly kill the mice at the spawn as they can just run up the ramp the second the shaman starts aiming for them. Overall this map doesn't feel balanced and can be annoying for the shaman.

@7848631 - P10 - The leftmost ice ground has no collision with mice, thus you can wj the wood it's supposed to cover.

@6631961 - P10 - The bottom right ground has hidden ice on the right side which sometimes blocks you from wj'ing the wood.

I think these survivor reports were missed and lost in the thread.

@7682811 - P10 - The top right ground has hidden ice on the bottom right side which blocks you from wj'ing the wood.

Shaman is in a cage with no cheese and hole.

Additionally, horizontal grounds are dynamic but you cannot move them but you can anchor objects onto it. Even if the mapmaker's purpose of making the horizontal grounds dynamic is for shamans to anchor objects onto them, it is not obvious even if there is a slight difference in the wood grounds visuals. Those who use minimalist mode would not even know the horizontal grounds are dynamic as they cannot see the visuals of the grounds.

Tricky problem to fix, it'd require moving the grounds in the area and even then it's not guaranteed to fix the problem. Tested the map three times and only once did anyone spawn a consumable, but they didn't successfully block any part of the map. We'll keep an eye on the map if there are further reports or complaints about this but for now with how it's rare that mice successfully abuse consumables. Keeping as it is.

It is on the easier side of P24 maps but it isn't so unbalanced that it's a problem. Out of three tests only in one did the shamans manage to clear the room. Keeping as it is.

I can agree this isn't an ideal example of a P6 map and it could just as well be a P7 map however with the lack of good mech maps we have no other choice but to accept some filler maps like this. Being P6 also has the benefit of the shaman helping mice that struggle with completing this map, which is a bonus. Keeping as it is.

True, and it's something we watch out for however in this case as it's a P9 map the shaman can assist the mice in solving the map in the event it's not possible to solo by the mice so it is okay for it to stay. Keeping as it is.

Short gameplay indeed but P6 lacks maps so this is fine as a filler map for P6 (it's also one of the truly mechanical filler maps in rotation). Keeping as it is.

The art is very minimalist and is only a few extra lines of code so it shouldn't cause any noticeable impact on performance for players. The art serves to remind newer players to utilize the cloud grounds as well as the danger of acid. Keeping it as it is.

Most likely was added as a filler for P9 since the category barely has enough maps to meet the criteria of 1000 maps. P9 is limited to a specific type of maps, so there isn't anything wrong with this being in P9 although it could also work as a P4 map. Keeping as it is.

Most if not all of the mice tend to use the intended path so this offscreen shortcut isn't problematic. It's a neat little easter egg for the more experienced players that recognise the map. If a large number of mice often times use the offscreen shortcut then I'd consider it problematic but as it is it's fine. Keeping as it is.

Unfortunately trying to address this issue would require drastic changes to the map and cannot be guaranteed to achieve a balanced path for both sides (difficulty-wise and time-wise). So I do not feel it's worth trying to fix, especially since the focal point is the art anyway. Keeping as it is.

Unfortunately little can really be done about this without intrusive edits like invisible walls or despawning grounds which I do not feel is the right way of going about it. This tends to be an common problem with collision maps in general. Keeping as it is.

I imagine it's to prevent people wasting 2 mins of everyone's time by sitting around on the map. Gameplay-wise it's fine, it's a bit unnecessary but given it's a P7 map there's no shaman losing out on saves or anything and it's enough time for mice to complete this map. Keeping as it is.
