I guess, at an amount, you'll get a title and the badge.

that's correct, not an error. You appear to trade one pie to the king per map, and get two random rewards (that are the same), so far I've seen the milk fur and explorer fur, or the new angels. And I think one random person gets the new rewards per map, randomly, when they bring the stuff back.

no idea what you do with the pie in your inventory afterward though, again, guessing it unlocks the other reward when it gets to a certain number.

You can get only 1 pie piece per map

We need to collect these pieces of pie touching them, and then, we need to go with one, a single one, to the King Fromagnus and then go back to the other pieces to collect them and give him the pieces.
I think is like the Astrologic one, we collect an amount of pieces and we get titles and the badge.

Great deal if you ask me since I'm too lazy to get one myself. xD

If I get an angel mouse myself I'll trade it off for 7 reindeers. xD

My guess is that we collect pie pieces and put them together in order to "build" a complete cake. That would make sense

I got the old title whitebeard from giving a piece of pie to the king.
it was my 5th piece of pie, I don't know if it has to do with that.

RUMOUR: Pies contain special charms, only one contains the cartouche, badge and others with consumables.
