Yes, we've discussed this map in the past and decided to leave the map as it is since it uses the maximum number of grounds and that makes it very complicated to come up with a perfect solution.

Gameplay-wise it doesn't make a difference if people see it as wood or chocolate as it isn't going to make them decide against rushing to the middle ground, at which point they'd know it moves and has high friction. Design-wise (in my opinion) it'll just look visually less appealing if it were to be changed to a chocolate since it wouldn't match with the other two wood grounds. You could argue that it isn't clear how the map works from initially viewing it but then you could also counter-argue it has a nice surprise to it for those who play it for the first time if it remains as a fake wood ground. Not really sure where I'm getting with this other than the fact I spent more time than I probably should have on an insignifcant issue. Map will remain as it is.

A girl with black blood coming from his eyes, ok, maybe this just has come too far.

There was an event not too long ago where the mice get cut up by swinging saw blades and knives, reduced to a bloody mess. If the devs think that is fine to have in the game, then this map is fine too. The map is extremely tame compared to that event.

It gives mice something to do and try and get an advantage instead of just waiting which will be boring. It's also quite unlikely that more than a few mice will manage to do it and even then the shaman can still build in such a way that it wouldn't be a problem.

Could you explain what you mean when you say the art is "noob"? Because if you mean it's simple then that isn't a reason to deny a map, simple art maps can just as impressive as line art maps.

We decided recently it's better for it to be P7 than P5 because the shaman is only going to try to ruin the map by building or using shaman skills in an attempt to get saves.

Nothing wrong with the map, there is a small chance of some maps playing a troll version when they play in public rooms, so that seems to have been the reason.

Unfortunately the shaman has too many skills at his disposal that can break most mechanism maps. We can't make them all shaman-proof otherwise we'd be left with hardly any good quality mechanism maps.

Fair point but there isn't much we can do considering it already exceeds the 20kb map size limit and we'd have to change the line art itself to make it more obvious.

Actually it doesn't require mice to walljump since they can scale up the chocolate wall by holding the up arrow key.

The cheese and hole placements are different for each map, we permed three slight versions of the map so that the shaman doesn't know where the cheese and hole are just by having played it once before.

Trampolines sometimes spawn too late and fall off map, or spawn halfway inside the rotating wood. It took me 3 times reloading the map (with 273 ping) to get them to spawn correctly. This could be just a problem for me however.
