I just let it pass and keep going.

When I get insults I just pretty much say "Yeah I am!" or try tearing their logic down to pieces. Either way usually works.

It depends on what the exact insult is.

For "noob shaman" or related things, I assume the insult is coming from an idiot who doesn't understand my build. If it's from a more knowledgeable shaman, I would ask how to build instead. Too bad I never encountered the latter scenario.

For just "noob", I usually wait for an opportunity for the insulter to screw up so I can use it right back at him.

For direct profanities or things related to my mother, etc., I just ignore it outright. Sticks and stones.

For others, I look for a grammatical or spelling error, or any kind of factual or syntax error, really. Then I correct him to show my superiority. If I can't find one, I just ignore him. I have yet to encounter the latter scenario.

If people insult me, I usually look at their profiles to see if they're better, which is 80% most of the time since most of the pros keep things to their selves. Unless you're a r00d person of course :>.

If they r smaller level than me, i ignore them. Its waste of time to get into a fight with a noob -.-
If they same lvl with me/bigger lvl than me, i start a fight with insults and swears :D
