It's a silly (sometimes rude) term that people use to tell people they're doing things like they don't know how to. So "new" people are sometimes called "noobs".

Noob: Someone still grasping the elementary concepts of the game.

Pro: Someone with either over 12,000 cheese collected, 1,000 firsts or 200 bootcamp completions. 12,000 cheese means you have at least 12,000 rounds worth of experience playing, 1,000 firsts means that you're good enough against other mice to beat them on a map, and 200 bootcamp completions means that you know how to do walljumps/corner jumps/turn arounds. They all have different meanings, but honestly just getting to 12,000 cheese collected pretty much makes you an experienced player no matter what and it's really not very difficult to achieve.

Noob: A troll (Not the one that lives under a bridge) or someone who doesn't know how to play. Or even a show-off... maybe. Newbie/Noobie - An inexperienced gamer.
Pro - A player who is very good at the game or is very expirenced.

Noob: A begginer who thinks he is so pro. (I think just the new people are called newbies, 'noob' is more of a negative term)
