Did those ever actually do anything? I don't recall any hackers using up cannonballs in 2010, so I've never seen them in action.

Looking at old/the earliest versions of the game, I can't see up cannons being possible in them, nor in Poisson even. I think this'll be left out unless you can point to a specific version it was in.

Uh, no. They were pretty much useless. Just rotate the down cannon to a up cannon and see the effect.

Playing a version of Poisson I couldn't get this to happen, I guess it was an update made sometime back then and not always true.
