I still can't understand. Will we get more tags, like <font size=8> or not? Because that's what I really want, with the ability to change the text style.

How soon is any time soon? Like 1 month? This christmas? Next years summer?

Also about polishing things up. There is one thing I learned about developement and user interaction. Even if your test group consist out of 100 people. Once you go full force you will realise, that its not where you want it to be. Lets go off the current numbers which are 2000. More bugs and glitches will be found. Lag and server issues were never taken into account. I personally don't think polishing up would be something you can really do there.

I dont think having hundreds of people post on a forum thats not completed yet is a good idea. ;)

Although, I do see some new stuff that might be related to the HTML forum, it looks like private or offline messages, or group discussions.

There is also three messages telling you that the text is too short, the title, subject, and message. It would seem that title and subject are a post, and message may be a private/offline messaging feature.

I want the forums to change - having an HTML version would bring possibilities for many things I'd like to see in forums:
• .gifs can be animated.
• We can stay logged in forever.
• When coming back to the forum, not every post will be marked as unread.
• Viewable from mobile devices without Flash.
• Easy to make custom themes/designs with things like Stylish for the parts of the design I don't like.
• Personal messaging again.

I'm sadenned that it's been delayed until next year by the looks of it, I was really looking forward to it.

why? the only reason you can't view these forums on some mobile devices is because they are in flash... while you can download a flash web browser, they are usually laggy and not really reliable
anything in html can be browsed on mobile (try CFM)
