I just don't understand, when the event is too hard people complain, but when the event is easy and faster to complete, people still complain.
I'm not pointing fingers or anything, I just think that people cannot be content with the events.

I personally like this event because it gives me more time to play normally without having to work super hard to complete the event and it also gives you time to rest before the next event.

But we still work hard for get presents , because we don't know if there are a seconde part of the event , because not all the badgs (old) are available , won't be surprised with nothing or something new :/

Those people are silly kids who got nothing to do but play all day, hopefully there will be a day for them all when they grow up and don't have enough time to play 24/7. Can't believe they finally made a decent event though, wish they never brought back that unbearable grindy stuff.

Also, if you actually have an expectation for "even better maps," you clearly are not any form of an artist. Art takes time and if you're busy, you obviously will not have all the time.
It's also worth noting that Meli is sick, but she's still insistent on working when she can. You have to give her credit for that.

I completely agree with you here. As a much older player the last event was quite difficult for me to complete. I don't have a job but as a stay at home wife I do have many other things that need my attention. Cooking, cleaning, shopping and in recent weeks my neice and nephew. Most of the wonderful ladies I play this know quite well I only tend to come on late, if at all. I don't have time to be sitting in front of the computer all day long. This event is a nice change. Though even now I still have not completed it. With Christmas around the corner I have been EXTRA busy. For those few of you whom are in my age group or near it you may understand where I am coming from when I say holidays can be rather hectic. Not only for the Adults but for those whom are to busy with school, homework, and Holiday family activities. I understand that you can't please everyone, but I do feel they are taking into account those of us who do not have the time of day to stay plastered to a screen lol.

I agree. Mostly because I have more and more homework as the years go on, so having a shorter event is awesome and good to actually complete the event without having to play it a lot.

I agree. Mostly because I have more and more homework as the years go on, so having a shorter event is awesome and good to actually complete the event without having to play it a lot.

I'd like something along the lines of two week events seeing as people go on vacation and such and two weeks seems like a reasonable time to get things if you miss them. but the lack of new things in this event is the disappointment, the map is pretty fun when you get the hang of it. im starting to like the idea of mini game events.

nah not really everyone, in singapore in december it's holidays for the students here (unless you're older)

I do enjoy how simple this event is though : D I can take breaks for once ehehe

The simplicity of the event relaxes me a lot and I am glad they took some action on the event rotation.
Only thing I might want to comment is that if they can have more than one map for an event (like Halloween 2014), it would be more engaging.
Nonetheless I am actually happy about this!

I don't hate this event, it's alright, but I must agree with this. If you compare this year's Winter (Christmas) event with the past ones, you'll notice the huge difference in quality.
Let's exclude the difficulty, this event is overall extremely easy to complete if you're an old player, very easy if you're a new player too. I guess that's not a bad thing, but in my personal opinion, more challenging means more fun. I literally completed the last year's event in the last day of the event and it was pretty exciting.

This is the very, very first time I complain on an event, I mean I was even ok with the relics, but this actual event is just, you know, get presents in 1 map, the end. I just became active to play the event but well, I finished it already.
I have one job too, I'm about to graduate too, I have to get all my papers into a college already and still with all that I have 1 good hour everyday to just relax and play.

My point is, events that were incredibly hard to complete (relics for ex.) weren't for my good either, but this actual one is just a joke, events like Halloween and kinda' Christmas 2012 were perfectly good, Halloween because it wasn't THAT easy to complete but was short, Christmas because it was one thing each day, and with around 30 minutes of gameplay you could get the map to get it. Fishing 2012 was fun because after waiting A LOT to get the map it could just bug xD but it could be completed fast a well :P Valentine's 2013 was good too, just collecting hearts it could be done in around 1 week, and the lists keeps going until the relics events. Even those between were good for me.

I like when events aren't like ''you have to stay 24/7 to finish it'', but this is just the other extreme, really, they could make a short event but not this boring, like they'd done before :/

Imo, an event should be like special, whole tfm is in it and hoping for it, expecting everything to happen. You can say me that how can I dislike this if I liked Fishing 2012, they seem similar, but there's the difference that in that one you had to get on the boat several times to get Exclusive items (oh man how I miss exclusive items events) and here it's just one title I'm not planning to use and a bunch of consumables :/

if the admins added more than just 1 badge everyone would've been happy i guess

I'm really happy about the simple and short current event.
But maybe they should have made another advent calender event. Seems like that would have been a better balance.
(You have to play about 1 hour max until the event map comes, do the task, then you are done for the day. But you should play everyday for the month)

I actually have "completed" by getting the title and all of the cartouches, now it's all about grinding for consumables XD

Can't seem to satisfy everyone it seems. Some people are complaining that this event is full of crap and yet doesn't provide any alternative/suggestion to make it better, all they do is compare back to the old events.. Which is stupid because judging by their complaints on this event they should be just as bad but they're better because they're "old" events. how2getpointacross
