I think is like the Astrologic one, we collect an amount of pieces and we get titles and the badge.

You may have unlocked it in a previous event. Whitebeard isn't a new title.
Try finding the title in your profile, or try typing this in-game to see if you already have it unlocked: /title 242

Not sure if it came with today's update or if it happened before during the Astrology one last week, but if you use the high five emoticon and if no one high fives you back after 5 seconds or so, an anime sweat drop appears. It's really funny XD

You have to collect 20 pies for the crown event badge.

The only way to get the badges is to buy the new fur or collect 20 pies. You don't need to buy a crown.
