I have to desagree with you. The map is fun to play and being generic isn't a problem. Also, the map is not hard and easy to learn. The only annoying part is the after-cheese lava, that is a bit precise.

@208940 The concept is broken because the physics of game got changed (Mices Jump 5 pxls +)and it's basically impossible complete it without cheese inside map.

The ice with high restitution that teleports mice to the other platform does not properly work.
It does still work fine for the player who is the sync in the room, but not for the others . Played with 25 mice, most of them failed to go through the ice.

A good bootcamp rotation consists of easy and hard maps. This map is one of the easiest to cater new bootcampers.

I think the issue with that map isn't so much as it's easy, as it has barely any bootcamp obstacles to begin with
You can easily complete it in 7-8 seconds just by running up an ice wall, gripping the wood and cornerjumping,

For regular bootcampers, this is indeed true. However, for new players these shortcuts aren't as straight forward. In order to run up the ice ramp succesfully you have to jump at the highest point to be able to grab the ice. This requires some technique that is typical for bootcamp. Those players who cannot do this, have to use the chocolate turnaround, walljump past an overhang and cornerjump to get at that same point. These things already make the map more difficult for these kind of players. You can argue the shortcut is too easy, but there isn't really a definition of what is too easy, as this is different for each individual player.

We'll discuss within the bootcamp team if it is needed to set some kind of threshold (if possible) in regards to easy maps, or if anything needs to be done about this particular map.

This can be considered a trap map and is therefore fine in p6. It doesn't really make a difference if it's in p6 or p9.

There is honestly nothing wrong with these maps. Everything you mention is dependent on how good the player and/or the shaman in question is.

This map is on the difficult side, but it's not impossible. Plenty of people are able to pass the start and are able to complete it. It's fine.

I don't see why this is a problem. Map still requires plenty of building for 1 shaman as is.

The map relies on joints, so if a shaman uses that certain skill it removes all joints. This is not a bug, but it's how the skill works. Shamans should learn not to use that skill on this map, or build their way to the cheese afterwards. It's fine to stay.

Tested this a few times, and the big majority of mice had no problem with this obstacle. Have you seen it happen more than once?

Seen it happen twice. the second time was in utility and most of the mice took several tries to get teleported, which I think shouldn't at least happen.

The point of this thread is for players to call attention to problems with maps that map crew might not be aware of. This means broken mechanisms, bad shortcuts, etc. All of your reports have basically been "bad art." Obviously, Map Crew is aware of art quality when they perm a map. Furthermore, most of these "bad art" reports have been regarding classic art maps. Art maps that use the basic grounds were either created when that was the only option, or are a throwback to those times. It's called "classic" for a reason and it has a certain charm.
Please use this thread the way it was intended or stop posting reports, it's a waste of our time.

A major offscreen shortcut and mechanism problem.

You can wall-jump over the wood grounds above the mice by using the green block floating a sec on the mice before it falls into the hole, and can get the cheese. Besides, the wall-jumping mouse can push and drop the red block into the right side that is wrong, which results in being impossible for the mechanism to work because of the red block missing. Of course there would be no means of saving most of the mice.

@478116 - it's very easy for the shaman clear the map, with the trampolines cannon can get a lot powerfull.Mostly shaman kill all the mices, no one survive
