Rikkeshang a dit : Added all except for @568611. The tunnels on this map feel like guaranteed death and lead to a lot of offscreen gameplay. Toyratz a dit : This map has anchors now, which is better, however the map is extremely plain and bland. Gameplay is fine but nothing special or interesting, there are no decorations to make the map look more lively, the grounds are inconsistent heights and positions. Oyga a dit : The style of this map is... odd, to say the least. It stands out a lot from the other maps in Domination, not only for the minimalist style (that I admit I'm not a fan of when used here), but the colourful backgrounds and unfair gameplay - as is with most war having the higher ground gives you an advantage, which the red team definitely has despite flags being further away from them. Biripin a dit : That's explained fairly well in the opening post. Benbirkralm a dit : The flags at the far sides of @4530474 still promote offscreen gameplay, fix that and it'll be added. @5011145 is fairly plain and boring. Decorations would make it look better, but there's very little space to move or do anything, shooting from some of the flag positions sends cannons directly at another one which make them a pain to capture. I know we already have one non-scrolling map in rotation, but this one doesn't feel different enough. Arber a dit : Interesting style, will give it a shot and see how it turns out. Biripin a dit : This map could be aligned better and have a nicer design (stone grounds with a width as a multiple of 40 (ie. 40, 80, 120, 160, 200, etc.) have a texture down the side of them and usually look better in maps like this. The bottom two flags are in a tunnel with very little chance of mice surviving if a cannon gets shot down there, map is sparse of decorations and some of the ones that are there don't fit in (one skull is hidden behind a flag), the grounds are inconsistent heights and the upper flag is a pain to capture in larger matches. Minajstar a dit : Having flags directly next to the spawns makes it almost impossible for the other team to capture, especially considering it's covered by clouds and almost impossible to kill anyone taking the flag. Other than that, this map is unaligned, and some flags are awfully close together which doesn't offer very interesting gameplay. |

Oyga a dit : This map looks simple but like the gameplay would work at least. The slanted grounds make this map look far more detailed, I'd like to see a few more of those added to stop it looking so flat. A minor irk I have is that the grounds offscreen at the bottom could be aligned to fit eachother, even though it's just a few pixels off. Another minor irk is that grass from the sign coming off of sand doesn't look too good. Knicksfans a dit : I've told you ingame, but I'll repeat it here for anyone else. There's 2 big tips anyone should use when making a map here. 1) Read this thread. Not only does the opening post tell you all of the requirements and technical things, but you can read through mine and Fxie's reviews of other people's submissions so you can find out what they've done wrong and how we'd like you to improve maps like that. 2) Play the game. Know how the game mechanics work, realise that triple cannons down tunnels mean instant death for anyone with no chance of surviving, know that slanted grounds help people cannonjump higher into the air, know the game. See how other maps in the game play, see how people like them and react to them, figure out what's fun to play. Augustinas a dit : I like how you've made this map slightly asymmetrical and added clouds in areas that make it difficult for mice to move around particular directions without spirits or mines, it adds an element to the gameplay that's more fun to play. The bottom grounds are too low, they can't be seen underneath the UI when playing, and the blue spawn has a significant disadvantage than red. |
