why? the only reason you can't view these forums on some mobile devices is because they are in flash... while you can download a flash web browser, they are usually laggy and not really reliable
anything in html can be browsed on mobile (try CFM)

Yeah, the forums will be viewable on mobile devices still, just the context of that quote seemed a little odd.

Anyway can't wait to finally have the forums, I hope development is going smoothly.

It'll probably be something like that, I remember the old forums used to be forums.transformice.com
Which also still works to open these

But can someone just awnser me this : Will this mean we will be able to put any kind of avatar image we want? Like most HTML Forums.

What do you mean by "any kind"? There will likely be no changes on avatar rules, I can imagine there'll still be a file size and dimension limit because nothing about that should change, and you'll likely be able to use the same image extensions as you can here (including no animated .gif).

Ofc. But wouldn't the limit be 'bigger'?

And i'm kind of sure that you can actually use .gif but yeah.

The avatar images would take up the same size on the server, I don't see any reason that they'd raise the limit for that.

And Sydoline's confirmed that animated .gif's won't be allowed as avatars.

I dont think having hundreds of people post on a forum thats not completed yet is a good idea. ;)

Although, I do see some new stuff that might be related to the HTML forum, it looks like private or offline messages, or group discussions.

There is also three messages telling you that the text is too short, the title, subject, and message. It would seem that title and subject are a post, and message may be a private/offline messaging feature.

Certainly because Flash don't handle .gif and with the new profil in game we can see our avatars.
