The cheese given away is not being used for one indivisual mouse's purpose. It's being used for every mouse in the tribe's purpose... Even if you're giving away cheese you earned, you wont be the only one to do it for things that other members of the tribe have contributed for. Other members will also help contribute as the decorations can be viewed by all members of the tribe.
Also it's not like a player is being forced to donate cheese, it's entirely up to them.

So far the examples are merely examples used to make the idea more understandable. Whether or not they'll be implemented if this suggestion works out is not up to me. But me and Fakenoob's ideas are things such as the 3 shaman feathers (Pink, Yellow, Blue) from room 801.

Most of our ideas are from room 801.

I LOVE THIS IDEA. because if u have a den and want cool exclusive items in it.... just donate cheese and get sertant items and i like how u can confirm it incase u don't have enough or don't want to..... i think a good idea to go with this is if u donate some u get a few fraises in return as a thank u gift from the tribe. just a idea don't have to do it.
