Everyone despises this skill tree, but I love it for divine mode. It not only buffs your velocity, it also gives you this handful triangle.

Some things I'd add to the thread here:
-> be mindful of the map you are on & how large the average mouse is, generally when building. I've seen many a shaman make a beautiful build only to misjudge the size of the mouse & end up blocking the mousehole. Mice are the size of one small box, generally. If the small box can fit, you will (most likely) too.
-> your build's base is the most integral part of the whole build. No good build is good if the starting point isn't stable. If you're starting on divine mode, I recommend trying these bases:
the standard base
I call this the "standard", but don't judge it just based on the name! It's the standard, stable base for a reason! You simply need two place one plank on top of the ground, two planks on either side of said ground, and a couple of boxes in the middle, like so.

Pros of this base include: 1.) it is incredibly stable, 2.) no need for anvils (if done correctly!), 3.) lots of room to build from the base (two planks on either side opens you up to two sides able to be built upon!), & 4.) it's VERY simple. However, this base is limited by the ground itself's length and width. Anything bigger than two large boxes could become a problem for divine newbies. But don't let this con deceive you. This should be your go-to if you are figuring out divine.

Here's an example of a build I made on Vanilla map 25 with this base:

the "torii" base
I call this one the "torii" base, as it looks similar to a VERY simple drawing of a torii gate (go take a gander and look them up-- they're pretty cool shrine gates with different styles! Beautiful!!!). It simply consists of one plank on top of the ground, and two on either side. Simple enough!

Pros of this base are 1.) it's literally 3 planks (you can't get any easier than that!), 2.) its relatively stable for its simplicity, 3.) once again, two sides open for the shaman to build upon. However, you will need 1.) a weight on one side or something of equal weight as to not off balance the build (it is prone to falling over otherwise), & 2.) has the same flaw of standard with being reliant on ground, but with an added bonus of only being able to build below your start/base point (this means that going to another side of the map that is higher than your base's ground will be harder to do and take more time).

The beautiful "torii" base! :D

TBC, feel free to suggest bases!
saved spot for later usage!
-> watch other shamans, specifically ones with many shaman saves-- listen to other players' suggestions and don't panic. If you end up saving no mice, it's okay. There will always be next time.
-> pay attention to how the physics/gravity generally works in the game. As the blue connectors are much more finnicky and are less reliable than the yellow/green connectors and red connectors, they’re much more vulnerable to the gravity and to weight. I tend to plan out exactly how I build when building out my base— figuring out how to reliably make ramps with as few planks and as stable a ground as possible. Having a good understanding of the game’s gravity and generally how much a mouse weighs versus an anchor or a plank can be really helpful in figuring out building.
