-Will clutter up profiles
-Marriage and relationships are mainly 1 and 1
-It would be useless to even put this kind of thing in the game. The game is about getting cheese and getting to the hole, not to be like "hey everyone look at me i have 10 different soulmates"

Just make an alt account and marry someone else on that. Problem solved.

I'm on no one's side, just simply in the middle.
I personally don't see any harm in it. But at the same time it does kinda ruin the concept of having a "one and only" soulmate and I'm personally not into poly relationships. Plus the fact I have some questions regarding how the multi marriages would even work. Plus the fact that the list of "soulmates" might clutter the profile. A limit would be good, but it'd kinda ruin the idea of marrying multiple people. But then again, most people prefer a small amount of lovers or just one lover anyway most of the time.
One question; When you send a marriage request, is it like the Discord bots (such as Miki bot) where you can marry multiple people without all parties (except the one you're proposing to) permission? Or does all parties have to agree first to be able to complete the proposal?

Mini rant incoming

No matter where you go, there will always be drama whether you like it or not. There's already a lot of drama regarding things such as your soulmate going with someone else behind your back or similar things. And that happens whether it's a monogamy relationship or a polygamy relationship. Fuck, people can go on alts and marry people behind your back and cheat either way; just on a different account. Heck, showing the soulmate(s) on someone's profile might actually help and see who might me trustworthy to marry and make sure you're not marrying a "cheater", if you actually care about that on a pixel mouse game that isn't supposed to be taken seriously.
There's some people that actually has polymarous relationships outide of the Middle East, and there's people who love eachother mutually in threesomes; just not as common and hard to pull off depending on your stances. A lot of people are stereotyping people who are into poly relationships as 'sluts' who can't pick one, which is rather sick because not every polyamorous person are like this.

And of course, like always with controversial areas like this that related to religous beliefs, beliefs would clash and it would cause uproar and arguments. And I rather not have another one of those considering the updates we've had this year where people reacted badly.
Though to be honest, I think the marriage option is just silly in general. It doesn't add anything onto the gameplay. And soulmates aren't always automatically seen as romantic relationships, so I think "marriage" requests should be replaced by something more fitting and neutral to reduce arguments and missunderstandings (because not all soulmates love eachother romantically, I myself am an example as I only love my soulmate platonically/as a sibling/best friend of sorts). There's other factors when it comes to controversial marriage topics as well. So people will always find a way to harass people and still make some sort of drama. In conclusion, I'd say let the system be or remove it entirely because people can never be happy with things like this nor does it help the gameplay.

Everything I said and more, bump. This is going more onto like free speech/religeon laws however and is too controversial for a platform like tfm, using the word "marriage" to describe soulmating was a mistake on TFM's part IMO.
