I read all of these posts and they all broke me, I didn't know Xan well, I didn't even recognize her name until it said "Pep", she seemed like a really nice person and I want to draw something for her but I can't draw mice and I feel like leaving her bad art would be a horrible thing to do..

Xanthe was a wonderful person. She was so nice and helpful, and I enjoyed making her laugh. I also remember talking to her about me getting a leopard gecko. I told her the name for it would be Leonardo DeGeckeo, and she laughed. Speaking of that, I did get the leopard gecko and it will be named in her honor. Xan if a boy, and Xanthe if a girl. I even asked permission and it was granted. It seemed fitting because she loved reptiles.

The last time I saw her she joined my survivor room, and she was having an absolute blast. She will be dearly missed, and may she rest in peace.

We will miss you Xan I can imagine how upsetting this is to all the mods and her family but I guess you just have to keep strong let's not dwell on her death and just remember how many good times she had on here with all the members, she will be deeply missed.

Daelement and I took a day to remember her about a month back; we bought some gifts she would have liked and wrote a card, attached them to helium balloons with some of her favourite colours and let them go in a park hoping that they could reach her somehow.

That is just the sweetest thing and just reinforces how prevalent she was in the community.

Xanthe was easily one of the nicest people I've ever spoken to. She always had a way to make me and many others feel so happy and special. I'm very glad I could share a friendship with this amazing person, and I hope she's having fun someplace far far away with all the animals.
She was like a big sister to me. There are no amount of thank-yous in the world that can express how grateful I am for everything she's done.
I can remember being told that Xanthe talked about me sometimes, she even wanted to dye her hair after seeing mine! I don't know why but I was smiling for what felt like forever.
