Anyone have the problem of mechs working in map editor fine but then failing outside it?

Hello.
I would like to know if the Map Editor is actually broken or they just changed it completely.
Grounds with '...' Restitution no longer make the ground go to 0/ 0 Pixels and I can no longer attach grounds with another ground that is not linked to it. Would be like that:

And it gets linked... Will that ever be fixed or what?
