Hey, this is not in the suggestion list, nor does it apply to the other stickies, nor could I find it on the list of threads. So: here goes. I think that in map editor (me from here on out) there should be a box selection for all things. This would be useful because it would facilitate moving groups of grounds around. (It exists in mappad, I know.) How it works: You would click-and-drag over a group of grounds, creating a rectangle. Everthing with a corner or more would then be selected by this and they would all become highlighted (as they would have if you'd clicked on them). You can then click and hold on the inside of the box to move it around. You could alternatively, change the x and y co-ordinates from the current menu. The length and height would not be available when multiple things are selected. The computer/game would hold onto the gorounds' distances apart in order to keep them the same after you let go of the mouse. To un-select the group, simply click outside of the highlighted group. *This would not be a "group" function as you can do in a bunch of microsoft programs. This would only work once. Example: You've made a bc that has a cj leading into a wj with obstacles. You want to make the cj harder by moving the landing farther away. you could then click-and-drag to select your five or so grounds that you have and simply drag them as far as you like. Or you could change the x,y co-ordinates through the menu. This is useful for: Selecting smaller grounds and object. Moving large groups of grounds. Rotating large groups of grounds. Etc. You would also be able to create your mechanisms on-screen before dragging them off, enabling you too see them as you test. Fruit. Supporters: Anomunus Willinator Mtsloud Elvismousee |

Support If anything Tig should really include some of MapPad's features in the in-game editor it would be beneficial to all mapmakers, esp to those who don't know about MapPad. |

Great suggestion. I remember this also being in a game called Incredibots. I think this would also be useful for rotating grounds simultaneously. Support X 500 |

/support Even if I can't export maps yet, this would be a very handy thing for precise map building like mechanisms and art maps. Doing this would prevent having to move every seperate piece. |

Ohyes, this would be extremely useful for moving big pieces of art to other parts of the maps, it kind of works like temple's map shifter but more specific! /Support |

./souport! This needs to be done asap! :D Although, you can already hold SHIFT, click on the grounds you want to move and use arrows to shift them around.(although it bugs sometimes) |
