Can I be a moderator?
Applications are currently not open at the moment. However there will be an announcement when we are taking applications, so check back periodically!

I've found a hacker! How can I report them?
You can report hackers using the report system. Click on the person's name in the chat box, or in the playerlist, and select report. You can also report people using the report command: /report username. Alternatively, you can contact an online Moderator directly. You can find a list of online Mods by doing /mod

When do my firsts/saves/cheese/stats start to count?
Firsts - 10 mice plus the shaman
Rounds - 2 mice
Saves - 3
Cheese - 2
Note: Every mouse needs to be on a different IP! Logging in 10 alts will not get you any firsts.

What are modules?
Modules are user created minigames that are playable in certain rooms beginning with #. You can find some of them in the "Game Mode" section of the ingame menu. These modules are created using lua, which you can find out more about in the Modules Subforum

How can I play Transformice using fullscreen?
You can play Transformice in fullscreen by pressing the fullscreen button. You can also download a standalone client so you do not have to play in your browser, more info Here

I've been kicked by a room, what should I do?
There is no such thing as voteban anymore; instead you get kicked from that room and you're unable to rejoin it for an hour. Simply join another room.

A player is annoying me. What should I do?
You can mute a player by using the command /ignore <username>. You will no longer receive whispers nor chat messages from them until you re-login. If you feel they are being extremely abusive please contact a moderator.

How can I contact a Moderator?
You can find a list of online mods by typing /mod. You can also find moderators in the official Transformice Discord server.

How many times do I need to be banned for it to become permanent?
There is no longer a set amount of ban hours required for a permanent ban. Permanent bans are given out where appropriate.

How many cheese do I need for title X?
A list of titles and the requirements for unlocking them can be found here.

Can you create a community for my country?
Communities are created if there are enough users from that country playing Transformice. The admins have access to very precise stats, so if there is a need for a community for your country, it will be created!

What are tribes?
Tribes are small groups of friends. They have a private chat and other interesting features such as ranking and a tribe house! Head over to the Tribes section to find out more information about Tribes.

How do I join a tribe?
If you want to join an already existing tribe, you must be recruited by someone who has recruiting powers in the tribe. You can either go to that specific tribes thread and read their requirements and who to talk to or you can post in this thread.

How do I purchase fraises?
Depending on your country, there are different methods available to purchase fraises. You can access these purchase options from the "Buy Fraises" button in the shop. Wherever you are from, follow the instructions on your chosen purchase option very carefully.

Why can't I purchase by SMS?
The payment provider Zong was causing many issues, so is no longer available for use. Only when a suitable payment provider for your country is found, will mobile payments be available.

How can I get a + in my username?
This is no longer possible. Accounts with a + at the beginning of their username are players previously from another game, extinction.fr. The accounts were merged with Transformice, and to avoid any name conflicts they had a + put in front of them.




How do I post a picture I have on the forums?
This thread explains in good detail how to posts pictures here on the forums.

What are sentinels and how can I become one?
Sentinels are forum moderators; they have no powers ingame.
The best way to become a sentinel is to generally be active, friendly and helpful on the forums as they are picked by staff. Keep an eye out in the Discussions subforum; if Sentinels applications are being accepted, it will be announced there.

How can I contact a Sentinel?
You can contact a Sentinel by sending them a PM, whispering one in-game, or by visiting the official Transformice Discord server. If you want to contact a specific Sentinel, you can find their email addresses in the Staff FAQ.

How do I get an avatar?
You can change your avatar by accessing your profile (click your name in top right and select 'My Profile') and then clicking the gear icon to the left of your name and choosing 'Change Avatar'.

How do I search the forums?
You can search the forums by using the search button found in the top navigation bar.

How do I make coloured text, links, strikethrough, etc.?
The Forum FAQ includes all information related to using the forums features.

How do I customize my signature?
Signatures are not available on the new forum.



I have found a bug/glitch, how can I report it?
You can posts bugs in the Bugs subforum. Before posting check the Bugs List to see if it has already been noted.

I cannot connect to the server/the game isn't loading! Help!
Please retry loading the game in about ~15-30 minutes. If you are still experiencing issues please visit the Bugs subforum to check if others have reported downtime. If not, post in this thread.

Can I change my password?
Both your forum and game password are the same. You can change your password by going to the My Account page on the forums, which can be found in the player drop-down menu.

I've forgotten the password for my email address and therefore I cannot change my password. What can I do?
Contact an admin via this form and they will be able to change the email address linked to your account.

I have a really awesome suggestion for the game, how may I share it?
