Well surprisingly, I'm starting to see alot of players and even Forum Regulars making very bad suggestion threads that are low quality and end up getting locked and put into Topic-8738 because of so.

So I'm here to make a guide for creating good suggestion threads! Here I will show you how to do what, what information you should include in your threads and more! I hope this thread will allow your own threads to live and look better then ever!

Tip Number One: Read the Rules First
This place has rules, not looking through the rules makes things complicated for you, this is a good thread to pick yourself up on the suggestion sections rules Topic-115093 Notice mausi's avatar? She got that cause she was a bad gurl and broke rules, bad mausi!

Tip Number Two: Rule Through Your Facts
Facts are something threads need to make them look like they need a actual thread and not just go into Topic-8738 your suggestion will have to be important to the admins so thinking up facts that end up being important to them (including everyone else) will make your thread seem important. Your facts can be anything from "This will make the game less glitchy" to "This will make gameplay more fun". Just remember without facts you can't get the people reading your thread to know exactly what their getting themselfs into, making them more likely to put in /no support and making your thread more likely to lock and land in Topic-8738

Tip Number Three: Text
Using your text profesionaly not only makes your thread look profesional but will also make you look like a better forumer. Most comonly used are Colors and Small Text.

To add a color to your thread it should be in this style.
[color=#Color Number]Text

To add
a dit :
Small Text

you should put it in this format.
a dit :
a dit :
Put text here! [ /quote]

And even more you can combine this with the colors to make the small text look like regular text or even other colors, if your wondering the regular text color number is #C2C2DA

Tip Number Four: Pictures
Lets look at Topic-162266 theres no pictures. Pictures make thread look profesional and let the readers to knwo what their getting into.
How do I add pictures exactly?
Lets upload a picture of our own! I'll show you how!

First you should go to one of two websites: www.imgur.com or www.photobucket.com

Get a account there then next make a picture in Paint or press where it says "Print Screen" on your keybored to copy a screen shot! Paste your screen shot in Paint then save it and upload your picture on Imgur or Photobucket then it will give you a bunch of codes, copy the IMG code! Paste it in your thread and that will put the picture you want up! If that explimation was not good enough try this thread! Topic-68280

Tip Number Five: Same Suggestion Threads
As you may have read in the guideline thread theres a rule agaist making a thread that has a similer suggestion to another. We all know no one is going to take the time to look through all the threads but theres nothing wrong with taking a quick look around to see if your thread has already been made! First you should go to Topic-30357 and look for the subject your suggestion is about and see if it's there, if not move onto step 2, step 2 is scroll down the first page on the suggestions section and look at thread Titles. If a thread title sounds similer to your thread read it, it may just be liek your thread! Doing this can save you the time of getting your suggestion locked! And it will take only 5 to 10 minutes! And if there ends up a thread thats still the same and you didn't know about it, don't worry, you won't be muted because it happens all the time, this is why you don't have to go through all 5 pages in the suggestions section to find a similer thread.

Tip Number Six: Check to see if your suggestion is actualy in already made!
This can end up very very embaresing if you make a thread then find out your suggestion is actualy already implimented! Lets look at Topic-161450 see what happened there? The thread creater didn't do their research and BAM! Like a brick in the face! If you don't know if your suggestion is already ingame but you just don't know about it, try asking a staff member! Staff pretty much know anything about the game! To get ahold of one type /c cfmbot modlist ingame on Trasformice.

Tip Number Seven: spellcheck and proofread
Checking your thread for bad spelling can help it look more profesional and make less confusion for the reader. Of course sometimes you can't exactly do this but if not you should at least get a good idea of how your word is spelled.

Anything anyone else think I should add to let people know how to make good profesional sugestions? Let me know in the comments I may just add it!

I hope this information helped you create a nice sexy suggestion thread!

Not to mention the countless grammar mistakes.

ANYWAYS, nice thread, but I hardly think people who make those bad threads will read this.

Yup. I don't see why anyone who ignores the rules thread, would come to this one instead.

It's not for those who don't read the rules, it's for those who can't seem to make a decent thread

Would be nice to send this or a link to this to whoever gets their thread locked. The people that find themselves unable to write a proper thread are often also the people that don't read rules, guidelines or guides as to how to do it better. However, your writings here can maybe be used as templates for sentinels, whenever they lock threads. Just an idea.
