@Griffincraft (sorry if you don't understand the leg thing there) soo yeah, as i always say, tutorials are always useful and you should check some canine leg tutorials i think?? Because the legs' anatomy is looks a bit off, especially because the back legs' thighs are so big and the leg's are overall too long in my opinion. //edit: i didn't notice that it was a maned wolf, sorry! And then the neck, it certainly is too long and thin. Also, the tail's position looks maybe a bit unnatural, so i tried to fix it somehow. Yeah, and the shoulders start way too low, and the ankles are also really low. And sorry for that i didn't draw realistic paws ;; soo i hope this was helpful for you! Lojids, it's a cheerful mouse with unique decorations and fur colour. A couple of things you need to pay attention to: 1. Pose is unnatural (see below for a guided outline, if you want). 2. The bandage wrapped around the right ear shouldn't end up bending upwards cos it's against the gravity. 3. The black hair ended with the tail was unnecessary. 4. Colour and shading (see below on how to colour the mouse ear at a basic level). |

can someone critique this sassy mouse thing I prefer a red line but if not thats alright |

Rosuuri a dit : redline: so the pose looked a bit weird (the head looks it's drawn in a 3/4 view, but the face doesn't. also, the legs point to left, even the mouse looks like it's looking to right), so i changed it a bit. i also did a head and legs in 3/4 view, since i thought otherwise i would've changed the whole drawing too much ;A; and if you draw the mouse with a bit human-like hands, do the same thing to the shoulders. everything else looks pretty good, keep drawing and watching tutorials to improve your anatomy :D |

@Boefie (i did some shadings so you could for example see what hair layers are in the shadow) So, i think you were kinda right about the head and hair, since the head is a bit small and idk but the hair looks like some kind of tentacles to me? But you probably know that hair isn't just thick strands of hair, and so i think you could work on making the hair more better looking and try to add some layers to it too. And about the ears, you could search up some ear tutorials to see what the ears' inside part looks like, because right now i think those look an awful lot like dog's ears'. I also suggest trying to learn to draw clothe's a bit better i guess? Also, she had no eyebrows?? Well, anyway, i hope this was helpful. ´ u ` |

Thanks Mistalee! Believe me, it was super helpfull I had some super struggle with the hair, it always goes wrong Im gonna pay some attention on the clothes.. I was never good in coloring and shading, i tried thousands of tutorails, but none works for me. Now maybe when i FINALLY find my tablet pen i can redraw it |

Im glad i could help you! <: And if i had to draw without my tablet pen i think it would've been 10 times worse than your drawing. also, here's a helpful(?) tutorial on drawing 3/4 faces i made some time ago |

Griffin, I feel the tail is a bit long for the mouse's body size, and should be adjusted. I feel the mouse's head is a bit wrong angled, and long. Since I'm not good with environmental drawings, I can't help with that. Sorry. |

I personally think it's a good size. Look at mice pictures for the tails, they're pretty long compared to the body. |

Since there is no shading on the mouse, maybe that's what made me to think it's too long. |

Lordfuzzy a dit : There is actually shading on the mouse, it's just very faint and hard to notice. |

griffincraft a dit : Aye, im gonna do a critic if you dont mind ><: ~ The main problems you have is actually the Perspective and the lack of knowing how big or small something is. because right now even though we know whats going on, we cannot relate on how the mouse is sitting in the middle of the cliff but his tail is already off the edge, whether if we are looking from eye view or bird eye, how long is the cliff and etc. Here are some redline of my 1st assumption: If the cliff is just a ledge. Perspective comes into place with all the lines and stuff. As other main focus is the sun, the vanishing point other there is a good place to start. all focus are now looking at the sun, even our mouse. Now we know the ground level of the ledge, you can draw the tail kinda parallel to it, so it does not look like its slipping of the edge. Also you may be thinking why did I add the shells there. Those shells is to relate and compare the size of the shell and the mouse, it balance out what we think is big or small. From this picture i can conclude both are near and the ledge is not so tall. Now i did another assumption where the cliff is high. Is the same thing but just the angle alittle. You can also see the shell in there is really small, and the mouse have to bend down abit to see the horizon. Lastly as our mouse here is an opaque object, it will cast a shadow. This shadow is important because we will know if it is sitting on ground level or floating. ======== Yea.. I really am not sure how to explain properly but i hope the sketches are simple enough for you to understand >< |

this isnt tfm art, but i'd like some advice for shading/anatomy of the face and generally just painting. this is done in iscribble instead of photoshop so it's not large |

This is my first time drawing tfm mice. I'm more used to realism and reference-based drawings, so this was a challenge for me! I know the ears are a little off (Scratch that, wayyy off!), and the cheese's perspective is a little wonky compared with cheese holes as well, but a few other things look wrong to me, perhaps someone could spot them? ^ Cheese is too stinky; go grab some bananas instead! |
