What about the hair that people double with hairstyle? People do put, for instance, raindowdash hair and then another hairstyle after it...

It would ruin many people's styles, I would just leave these ones be.
Besides, the Applejack hair has a hat in it.

how about an option to use a hair to substitute the hat slot
so, you can equip 1 hair and 1 hat OR 2 hairs and 0 hats

I think in the long run it would be best to just have a limit on the number of items you could equip total instead of just one per category this way If people want to wear multiple hairstyles then they could and it wouldn't ruin old styles either.

these things make me mad

I like wearing the rainbow dash head gear and one of the hair styles so it looks like a boe at the back. If they made a back of the head boe item for ears and then changed these to hair styles then I'd be happy and support! ^^
