Today me and a few others in the EN chat thread were all chatting when someone posted a picture of a mute that someone got.
For a second there we all got confused and thought we were muted making us all scared for a moment, it's not funny and it has happened multiple times, for me setting off shock because i don't know what i did then realise it was just a picture. This is a real problem and in my opinion something needs to be done about it.
It's certainly not funny when someone gets shock over thinking someone muted them unfairly.

So to sum all this up I would like the sentinels to disscuss bringing a rule against posting pictures of mutes, they bring no good disscussion and only bring chills, thank you for your time.

I am talking about pictures like this one of course

but is it really that big of a deal? I mean it did scare the living hell out of me but this is the first time I've seen it

For me it's not the first time, so yes considering that it brings no disscussion value this is that big of a deal

Common sense would tell you to scroll down and that it would appear in the middle of your screen, not in a post.

I nearly thought i was muted :c I don't think it should be a rule, it would be more of a respectful thing.
Such as you'd know not to do that even if it's in the rules.

And how are you planning on doing it? Mute pictures are posted in the same way other pictures are. Do you want to disable all pictures on the forum? Or let sents take care of it every time? If the second; sents can't be there all the time.

Yeah, it did make me think i was banned, I mean I did add spam to a thread saying- Not gonna spam e.e

But you can just scroll the mosue over the picture and click it, i did that.

I know I saw that picture, it scared the hell out of me.
