In this thread, I'll be explaining Shamanism to those who bother to read this.

~The basics of Shamanism are as follows:

• Aumakua is a vital part of this whole concept. You see, he/she (Whatever gender you prefer) answers your questions you may have about yourself.

• The Child Within is like the gateway to Aumakua, once you reach the child within, the pathway to Aumakua is clear.

• Your Ego is like...your wants and disires. If your Ego wants something, you have to either agree or disagree. You can also ask Aumakua if your Ego's making a good or bad choice.

• Chakras are like the networks of your pysical body. Chi, Life Energy, is channeled through these Chakras. If a Chakra is broken or clogged, however, Chi stops flowing through that specific Chakra and problems occur.

• Awareness...I don't know much about this minitopic, but if I find more, I'll edit. :x

• Shamanic Journeys. Here's the main point. Shamans and Shamanists use this skill to go into a Dream State and retrieve broken or detached Soul Fragments. The Shaman or Shamanist is still in the Conconsious Realm, their Spirit Self has just gone into the Dream State.

• Pysical, Mental, Spirit, and Soul Bodies. Another big one. Your Pysical Body is all the pysical proterties that make up your outer body. (Skin, Eyes, Mouth, Blood, ect.) Your Mental Body is where your Brain lies. Your Spirit Body is the Body that interacts in a Shamainc Journey. Your Soul Body is self-explainitory: Your Soul.

I always thought shamons was a spirited power based on my the mental state, involving dreams.. ((Yes)) But as spiritral guides and totems were based on animals and accesters. I have an animal totem.. one that i see in my dreams often. The spider, AKA the weaver of time, and creativity. Meditation. The Budist religion is involved in this so.

This is a guide for your personality and how you should deal with things and what events that have ((Or will happen)). Weather it's good or bad, you spirits will guide you in your dreams and help you pull through. When you see an animal in your dreams, or a person.. They are telling you something, and may vry well be your totem, based on how much yousee them or if you have figured something important out.

^ Well put. Totems are indeed involved in this. Budism and Shinto are tied to this concept, also.
