I made 4 decent maps in april some time ago. Only 2 of them have been voted on and each of those 2 have 49% votes... I feel that they are both decent maps and is there any way for them to get revoted on? Also, its been taking forever for my other 2 to get voted on :/. Any help will be apriciated. http://cheese.formice.com/maps/player/destinychez |

The cheese formice was out of date, i forced an update and i have found out that 3 of my maps have 49% votes and 1 42% votes. Is there any way for them to get voted on again? Thanks ~Destiny Chez |

I read somewhere that every map is played the same amount of times.. the amoun tof votes matters on how many mice are in the room when it plays I guess. One of mine got lucky and got 40 votes in 2 days and another one of mine was in rotation for about a month and only had like 30. I do not think there is any way to get your map to have a better vote percentage unless if a lot of people voted yes on it. If you think your map is good enough to be P1 (Delete Protection) than you should contact a moderator to perm it ! |

Your opinion on your own maps is biased. Maps can be taked from P44 (deleted) and put back to P0 (in rotation), however there is no way to remove botes that have already been casted and the maps will just end up deleted again after their next play. You can try republishing the exact map for a revote, but it will probably still end up being deleted, public voting is likely to end up the same even with different mice playing your map. I once tried submitting the same map 9 times, all but one were vote deleted, and the one that still lives is only because I premade a possible recommended solution (which I then took out once I felt the map had enough votes - I think that was at about 8000 with 58%) Though it was a hard map (well diff 2 in room shaman since I got one of them into that rotation), the results definity spelt that it was hard for mice. (try one = 46%, two = 46%, three 48%, four 54% (this was the premade solution, it's now got to 13k votes), five - 49% (actually made it past the normal 100 vote margin by 40 votes), six = 43%, seven = 38% (epic fail, though this is the one in room shaman, I don't know if that means anything, it's now P1 anyway), eight = 47%, nine = 48% (this one is techically easier since the hole was at the spawn). I was actually lucky enough to play one of the versions of those mentioned maps in normal rotation (even less likely to happen nowadays), and since I died on it, I could see why people thought it was hard and voted it out of the rotation (and if my past experience with my own maps is any judge I probably voted no on it*) Actually I think it might have been the one that died at 38% (@340220) - maybe the people in that room made all voted no to spite me on failing my own map. (*though this bit is offtopic, the only ones I can remember voting no on were @212248 and @311673 when I played those (both of which are still in rotation, I don't actually remember my vote on @340220) |

I hate to break it to you, but your maps aren't exactly perm material. I somewhat agree with the voting, and I see no problem with it. Cheerydog a dit : I put out the same map twice, one got deleted under 100 votes and the other is still alive with 5k votes. I made no changes. However, this could be a coinky dink. |
