Skills On/Off Option for Maps |

Since the most recent update has occured, it has become apparent that the game has: 1. become a lot easier for shamans to save mice, 2. discouraged new mice from learning how to build without "skills". If the update could be changed.. it probably would have been better to make the game more like room: shaman, so that: 1. the experience points gained corresponds to the difficulty of the map and the number of mice saved upon completion, by the shaman only (rather than gaining points by collecting cheese as this does not demonstrate any shamming capability and allows for mice to farm for points). 2. mice can select their difficulty range for the maps they want to sham for. However given that the update has already been released, I understand this would be impossible as there would be too many upset mice and would require the skills to be reset. So, to preserve the intergrity existing maps and perhaps the game itself (as a physics over magic sort of game)... Maybe one idea could be to include an option for map makers (or map crew) to allow or restrict the use of skills in their maps. Ultimately this would be aimed to allow for maps designed for more thought and complex builds to exist without the need for skills; and to perhaps provide the oppurtunity for room: shaman to be brought back (given that mice are still interested in playing there). |
