Pressing "X" and repopening doesnt work for me.

Alright so the issue is with the standalone itself. Have you tried to reinstall it?
Sadly I don't know Mac so I can't help too much but I'll try as best as I can.

Maybe not. Mac has problems with games. Its not designed for games. Its designed for programming, coding, art, etc. I have heard of peoples macs getting fucked up for downloading games and even playing them online. So that could be the problem.

I'd recommend resetting your MAC Address. Or, getting an Anti-Virus, as you may have installed one for a website, causing your computer to not be able to load the game.

The game doesn't ban MAC addresses so that is pointless.

No because the standalone worked perfectly fine before, and still works on browser. I appreciate your help but it's not very helpful to say "lol your computer is shit, get a new one."

Maybe the problem is in Flash? I see you use Chrome, which has the newest Flash in-built, so that should always work. But maybe there is something wrong with your Flash or Adobe AIR? You could try using a different version of Adobe AIR, or reinstalling.

I don't know if the Mac version has AIR or not. I don't see anything about it in the Mac topic (whereas the Linux one has instructions how to install AIR by command line).
