Countdown meaning that giving a time to a certain event like 11D 12H 10M 11S to some event. This is because, the thread saying that the fishing event was coming this summer has not yet arrived. No one actually knows when is it coming in this summer. I feel that everyone should know the certain date and timing if not everyone will keep asking when will it come this summer. Maybe you guys have a better idea. Hence, I'm going to leave it up to you.

they actually did on the ES live stream, but it wasnt a proper date.

also what fxie was elluding to is not even the admins are certain when they'll do the events. it all depends on what kind of issues there are.

Personally I like the tense build up to the event when no-one knows what's going on. Besides yeah, the admins don't know when it'll happen half the time, and issues arise that delay it, so if something came up and the countdown had ended but the event wasn't out, everyone would be raging supremely hard.

For these two reasons I don't support it.

The number of times they say an event is going to happen but bugs and really starts a few days later XD
Give them a chance to change the event date when bugs in testing occur XD
