Many of the shamans chose windmaster tree because of WIIIIINGS *-* For me, I believe Wind Master is the most popluar tree of the three trees. I maybe mechanician now, but I am a former wind master. Ok. I used my friend's account (He agreed to lend me) to show you some things why Wind Master is loved. In this map, the 2 other skill trees had a hard time building because they can't get out of the cage. For Wind Masters, just double tap your right or left move button and.... Tadaaa. You just got out of the cage and build freely. (Projection skill) Now, if you want to build map 0 the other way, just duck and you'll fly like a bird to the cheese then build. Example: You could also do something on your way! But wind master isn't only Pros. It also have Cons for mice and for the shaman. Example: When you are shaman and gave transformice powers to the wrong mouse/mice, this mouse/mice might troll and it will affect your saves though. Too much cleats (friction) can affect on how you should play the map's gameplay. Example: If your shaman is a wind master, he could troll you and your fellow mice because of his extra ice cubes and companion cube + cannon. (Im NOT telling you to don't pick wind master tree.) Why don't you share your tricks or techniques with your Wind Mater skills? |

The teleporting is probably one of my favorites. Especially if you combine it with Spiritual Guide's apples. And I looove Cleats. I can make turn arounds on my own planks and walljump wall angles we couldn't before. |

my fav part about wind master is acrobat, being able to build while moving. saves a bit of time. Also the transformice skill is good. You can make your friends parkour a map xDD |

thanks for the guide ^^ when you explain about the cons... why don't you just get stern instead of turning other mice into your tools or w.e, i find that skill useless. same with cleats and bubbles; would never invest in them. |

Yesssss! projection is my favorite skill as it makes walls somthing to laugh at! Acrobat makes building soooo much , easier, and rocket... DO I EVEN HAVE TO SAY ANYTHING ABOUT HOW AWSOME IT IS? Along with all that, I've found that the combo of acrobat, projection, and yes, even cleats make you a lethal fighter in duo maps. And while I do find cleats useful, bubbles, chocokiss, and transformice I would never invest in. |

Eh, imho, this doesn't present the Windmaster Tree as well as Hatoncat and Seeteegee has done in their topics about the other trees. It only really outlines how Wind Master can be taken advantage of in two maps. I appreciate your time you put into it but I would also appreciate a more detailed and thought out thread as done by Hatoncat and Seeteegee. If I was a thirdy party, reading this promotion of the Wind Master Tree and having read the other promotions/guides composed by competing players without bringing any sort of bias to the table, I would most definitely pick the Mechanic and Spiritual Guide tree over this anyday. From my pof, the Wind Master tree has been left in the wake of the other trees due to lack of detail [of the tree itself] and promotional points. |

It's hard to write guides for Wind Master since it focuses on shaman boosts and using just images might be hard to follow. Anyway, here's what I have for Wind Master: The most useful skills of the Wind Master tree are Wings, Personal Teleporter (Warp), and Acrobat (Movespawn). I call the tree Wings Warp and Movespawn (WWM) and are the only reason I invested at all in Wind Master. I didn't get any Bubbles since I find that they more of interfere with my builds and solutions. And planning to have mice die for your solution is *not* a sound shamaning principle due to the greedy nature of Transformice players. I didn't get the Companion Crate/Trollbox because it just adds additional clutter to my already crowded Shaman items list. Plus I already have level 5 Cannons, so... I didn't get cleats since I like being able to move faster when I shaman. I'm less worried of dying since I have Unburstable. I'm not really concerned of having to move fast since I have 4 Extra time, Springs, Cloud, 5 Personal Teleporters, and other compensating skills. Here are a few solutions you can do using WWM: Map 10 Map 24 Map 36 Map 119 As you can see, WWM only helps me get to the places I need, but the stuff I summon are the regular items any shaman has. I'd say Wind Master is nice as a *SECONDARY* skill tree to complement Spiritual Guide skills. But on its own, it's mostly gimmicky and often slower compared to Spiritual Guide. |

The greatest benefit to the wind master tree is getting ahead of the mice and making it safe for them BEFORE they get to any hazards. This advantage can be manipulated even further with the eagle eye upgrade for mech tree. |

Tomdizzy a dit : True. However, I don't use it for that. I use it for SURVIVOR. Well, my main strategy in Survivor (regulars in /room survivor know me) is to hug the mice. THEN use my lead cannons directed at both the mice and I, and while I use Acrobat and Wings to fly off, the mice are blasted off the map. It works well. Also, the cannon usually boosts me up as well, and sometimes I fly around the map (ok glide with Wings) and shoot cannons from above. Or Winglock myself (hold up, then press enter) and troll the mice. It works like a dream. :D |

I`d rather use that when they hug me, not chase them down |

Wind-Master is a life saver in my opinion if it's in the paws of a shaman that knows how to use it properly, unlike all the people that get it just for the wings. I wouldn't recommend it as your first tree though, Spiritual guide would be that one because more saves; faster experience. The pro's of Wind-Master in my opinion is the fact that you can get around almost any map without needing to worry, building is a lot easier with acrobat and the wings and self-teleport can get you out of sticky situations, possibly even save your life. The con's about it though is sometimes you may end up projecting yourself through your buildings while spawning a plank trying to stay on ice/a slanted surface. Bubbles if you use them, real save killer (I personally hate bubbles). And if another shaman has cleats, this being the most annoying for me because why have all this mobility if you're just going to stick to the ground while trying to run. I do kind of feel like this tree doesn't get as much credit as it should like the others, however. |

Shadowwinter a dit : I actually think this tree gets the most credit, people want the wings, however as you said that's not the reason people should be using this tree, so I think it gets the most credit, but credit for the wrong reasons |

People getting it just because they want wings doesn't really count as credit in my opinion, you just see it more often. That's the only reason this tree is popular by the community but again, for all the wrong reasons. I don't think very many people know how useful this tree really is. |

Well when wings werent cut for the flying i was a full wind master after that i reset and now I'm spiritual guide and windmaster. I think those are a great combination because you can get out of those little places AND get those stupid statpadders into the hole with easy victory. Im pretty sure mech is awsome as well, just haven't tried it out yet. |

I started off as a Wind Master and I still love this tree the most. I find acrobat one of the most useful skill in this tree. Wings are still pretty helpful. Projection is useful to get of places you're trapped in. Endurance is very useful to get ahead of the mice and start building. I perfer this tree from all the others, but don't think a lot of people find it very useful. I also think its fun like for example the make other mice kiss you skill and "transformice". |

The main problem of Wind Master tree is the amount of useless skills compared to the ones that could be qualified as extremely useful (such as opportunist, wings, acrobat, projection and personal teleporter). The rocket and endurance can be used as "fillers" to get to the upper row. By combining all of these, you only get 19 points out of 26, that makes it rather empty compared to the two others. I agree with Ctg on the main point of Wind Master tree, it is a great complementary tree, but it isn't as useful as the two others since it's mostly based on the shaman's mobility rather than building itself. |

Vvarriorw a dit : I honestly think Rocket scientist and Projection skills fill in for wings at least thats what i do to save points for spiritual guide and mech so i can get a little taste of everything :3 |

Opportunist, Compainion crate, Rocket, Self-Teleport, Acrobat, and Wings are all the useful skills for the tree in my opinion. Endurance and diet are just bonus's in my opinion. So all the tree's skills that I've put points into have shown some use for me, even if Endurance and Diet don't change much. Also, just because the tree is based around mobility rather then building doesn't make it any less useful compared to the others. Sure, shaman's can live without it but it's the same with the other tree's but that extra mobility is what make's building alot easier for most shaman's that don't need anything fancy. Wind-Master plays a huge part in my shaming, take that away and it's much more difficult. |
