[Gameplay] Giving the Shaman more time at start. |
0 | ||
This is my first post on these forums, and while playing a map, I had the idea of giving the shaman more time to build at the beginning of a map. The shaman has a hard enough time with players "rushing" to get the cheese. This usually results in casualities that could have been prevented if the shaman had enough time to react to the map. Anywhere between 5 and 10 seconds of added time before regular mice spawn could be enough for the shaman to get a few more saves. It could also help with players who lag when a new map loads. Does anyone have opinions on this? _________________ SUPPORTERS: ___ -Epicshawty |

No, I mean at the beginning of a map when mice spawn in. The shaman should be able to spawn in first before the regular mice. Before "rushers". |

Dealing with rushers is part of your job as shaman. |

I don't see how 5-10 seconds could make a difference. I mean, it would only be enough for me, on easy mode, to place a b plank and maybe attach an angled c plank. For a Hard mode sham, I daresay they would only, if even, get the base c planks covered. |

I appreciate the opinions. I just find it terribly annoying that on maps with balance, I get no time to prepare the map. And I am already down like 8 mice because of it. Your point is fair though, Tomdizzy. |

Using hot keys to prepare during the 3...2...1 sequence is easy enough. Why don't you just do that? |
